Simone Biles needs no introduction when it comes to her domain. At the age of 27, the 7-time Olympic medalist has grown to be the most decorated gymnast ever with numerous more awards associated with her name. In doing so, the gymnastics queen has stood on a pedestal for the younger generation to look up to. Through costumes or through attendance, the aspiring talents have reminded Biles of her GOAT status every so often.

Hence, in reciprocation, the gymnast is all set to be back with her Simone Biles Invitational, catering to the young gymnasts. Today as the event marks its beginning, here’s everything you need to know to not miss out further.

Simone Biles Invitational 2024
Simone Biles Invitational is a gymnastics event that works to promote aspiring gymnasts from all around the world. The event starts on the 1st of Feb and will go on until the 4th scheduled with gymnastics events and accompanying titles. This year, like the rest, the event will be held at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX. The event will start with the Elite Compulsory Qualifier on the 1st of Feb and will end on Sunday with numerous final rounds across 5 gym areas. The tickets for the same will be available on the official Simone Biles Invitational website. The price of tickets will vary based on single-day and weekend passes ranging from $35 to $80.

The event first saw its beginning in 2018 at the World Champions Centre, possibly inspired by Mary Lou Retton. In 2020 the event grew to serve as a qualifying meet for the Nastia Liukin Cup. However, despite all the seriousness and the staunch interest in fetching talent, Simone Biles has also ensured to help the young gymnasts let loose with the additional events.

Fun on schedule for the young gymnasts
Simone Biles’s Invitation extends to include 2 events off the court. First on the list, on Feb 2nd, the event will host a ‘Glow Party’. The occasion will be open for registered athletes, their siblings, and chaperones. From 8 pm to 10, the athletes are to join in on the ‘glow in the dark,’ inclusive of dance, music, and refreshments. For the second part, the young gymnasts will have a chance to meet not just Simone Biles but also her friends. Jordan Chiles, Zoe Miller, Joscelyn Roberson, and Tiana Sumanasekera who train with Biles at WCC will join to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The session will be specific to each participant, spectator with admission, and an adult chaperone. The admission passes can be found on the website costing $400. The Simone Biles Invitational will arrive as a well packaged event providing a glistening opportunity for young gymnasts to shine, cherish, and learn.
