Gervonta Davis will be back in the boxing ring this summer.
The lightweight star is reportedly set to return against fellow unbeaten American Frank Martin, though an official announcement has not yet been made.
Davis is the WBA world champion and will be staking his belt in the fight, which is being targeted for June 15.
It’s understood that this will share a PPV show with David Benavidez vs Oleksandr Gvozdyk for the WBC ‘interim’ super-middleweight belt.
The venue for the event is not yet known, though Tank took to social media on Wednesday night to drive speculation.
He posted a picture from his last fight against Ryan Garcia with the caption: “JUNE.”
Davis set the location on his post to Houston, Texas.
However, he confused fans by later tweeting: “Chicago?”
Time will tell what the exact location of the fight turns out to be, but for the time being fans are already getting excited.
One commented on Davis post: “June somebody’s getting knocked the f*** out.”
While a second wrote: “If you want the bank, bet on Tank.”
A third fan put: “Let’s f***ing go, great to see you back in action champ, it’s a gift for the sport of boxing.”
And a fourth added: “Gervonta in Houston? I’m there.”
Another fan said: “Looks like the fight will be in Houston, that whole weekend gone be a vibe.”
