Paige Spiranac has been making headlines as usual after she made fans stare at their screens when she celebrated her 30th birthday by wearing the iconic red swimsuit from Baywatch made famous by the numerous actresses in the series, most notably Pamela Anderson.

Paige captioned the pictures “Today is my 30th Birthday. I know most women don’t like to talk about their age because people act like there is a shelf life and treat us like spoiled milk lol. Truth is I’ve never felt sexier and more confident in my own skin.”

The golf sensation did not lose the opportunity to reach out to her fans and ask if I’d give her a birthday present.”You can buy my sticker collection and give me a great birthday gift,” they added.

As soon as she posted, fans began filling the comments section of the post with their well wishes “Gorgeous,” one wrote, while another “The best 30-year-old hips I’ve ever seen,”

The fire and heart emoji were posted back to back “Happy birthday gorgeous!!” and “Happy birthday sweetheart.”

In the post, she also shared another picture where she was sitting down and wearing big boots, “DANGER PAIGE,” red the caption, and comments followed right away “You look like one of the Pamela Anderson in your red swimsuit only yours suits you and your prettier than baby girl xxxx.”

Spiranac has a over 3.9 million on her Instagram. When interviewed by Maxim about her online journey she claimed that “When I first started posting, I showed my failure and the things people weren’t discussing, mental health, failure on the golf course. The community I’ve built, they know me. Even the people who hate me, in the beginning it rattled me, but now I have fun with it. I think my skin is thicker. I know how to handle it,”.

The headlines are brimming with the news of the legend’s son, Charlie Woods. Fascinatingly, he had decided to take part in the pre-qualifiers for an upcoming PGA Tour event, the Cognizant Classic. But even so, it’s not as if the journey for the young athlete until the main tournament would be an easy one. Why? Enter Miles Russell.

Who is he? Well, he is the only 15-year-old, apart from Tiger Woods’s son, who would be taking part in the pre-qualifiers. In the meantime, it is natural to get curious about the two athletes as they gear up to take part in the PGA Tour event.

Has Charlie Woods finally met his match in Miles Russell?
Russell was dubbed the ‘Boys Player of the Year‘ at the American Junior Golf Boys Association soon after turning 15, becoming the youngest player to be crowned so. Moreover, he was able to surpass the record of the 15-time major champ, who claimed the same in 1991, at the age of 15. Besides, the feat has made him join the legend in becoming the only two 15-year-olds who have won the award.

What’s more, in terms of ranking, the young golfer ranks 76th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, while being the first in the AJGA rankings, as opposed to Woods Jr., who is not ranked in either. This can be attributed to the reason being Mr. T’s son not having ever played for AJGA or qualified for a USGA amateur event.

That’s not all. Charlie’s nemesis has clinched the fourth position on the Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings (Boys) and the top place in the GW rankings. However, the 15-year-old Woods has his name ranked as low as T1300 in the former while being placed at T1148 in the latter standings. It appears the youngster has his game cut out for him for the week’s pre-qualifiers.

Although the 82-time PGA Tour champ’s son is not ranked highly when compared with Russell, it’s not as if he is devoid of any achievements. Interestingly, over the past year, Charlie Woods has managed to rake in many wins and top finishes, one of which came alongside his father at the 2021 PNC Championship.

Woods Jr. and Russell, are not your average junior golfers
Aside from a T2 at the parent-child event, the young athlete was able to push his team from the Benjamin School to win the Florida High School State Championship. In addition, he won the Major Championship at Village Golf Course in Florida, along with qualifying for the Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship with a victory at the Last Chance Florida Regional (Boys).

Now, coming back to Russell. At the age of 9, he was able to qualify for the Drive, Chip, and Putt National Finals and became one of 10 players in the boys’ 7-9 age group. Besides, he was able to do so by finishing first in the driving portion of the regional finals while tying for second in putting and tying for third in chipping. What’s more, he had also won a local qualifier at TPC Sawgrass and emerged victorious at a sub-regional qualifier at the World Golf Village.

Well, although there is enough room for both of them to qualify, one can’t help but imagine both the youngsters duking it out against each other at the same. Anyhow, many eyes would be undoubtedly on the pre-qualifiers, the event where the legend’s son would battle it out against another golfer who broke the legend’s record!

Former tennis player Roger Federer surprised the Golden State Warriors while they were in a practice session. Federer was visiting San Francisco and warmly greeted several members of the NBA team.

The tennis legend shared a few minutes with Stephen Curry and his Warriors teammates, while he took some shots at the basket. Federer also expressed excitement at being there.

Warriors’ home to host Laver Cup in 2025
The Chase Center, currently the home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, is the venue used for a variety of events, not only sports, but also art and music.

Next year’s Laver Cup, the eighth edition of the event created by Roger Federer in honor of tennis great Rod Laver, will be held September 19-21.

“Chase Center will be the perfect setting to host the eighth edition of the event, in a cosmopolitan city that loves its sport but has been without a top-level men’s professional tennis event for more than 10 years,” said Tony Godsick, president of the Laver Cup.

It will be the first time that the three-day team tournament, which pits six of Europe’s top men’s players against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world, will be held on the west coast of the United States.

 • Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens told The Pivot he didn’t know who she was when they met.
 • The football player met the Olympic gold medalist on the dating app Raya.
 • Owens is now getting backlash from Biles’ fans after saying he was “the catch” in the relationship.

Jonathan Owens recently said he’s “the catch” in his relationship with Simone Biles — despite the Olympian being the most decorated gymnast of all time. And her fans aren’t having it.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Owens, 28, and Biles, 26, both appeared on The Pivot podcast, hosted by former NFL players Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder, in a wide-ranging interview that also discussed how the two athletes met.

In a clip of the podcast released on Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers safety told the hosts he met Biles on the dating app Raya.

“I didn’t know who she was at the time, but like, the first thing I saw was she’s got a bunch of followers, so in my mind, I’m like, she gotta be good,” he said.

When pushed about how he could have possibly not heard of the multi-Olympic gold medalist, Owens said he had been busy.

“When she won the Olympics, I was in college, and we didn’t have NBC. We didn’t have Olympics channels and we’re in camp. We’re in camp in late July, early August,” he said. “So I’m not paying attention…I’m like, ‘Lemme see who this is.’ I never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity.”

After Biles messaged him on the app, the two eventually wed in April 2023 in Houston, People reports.

Clark later asked Owens: “So you was really the catch?”

“I always say the men are the catch,” Owens responded.

Owens’ response drew criticism and consternation across the internet — especially as the clip dropped the week Biles was named the Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year for the third time.

“Simone Biles’ husband is a walking red flag,” said one TikToker.

“The way this unknown man sat there and tried to humble his wife, Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles. In the words of Adele, ‘Divorce babes, divorce,'” said another.

One X user went all the way back in Owens’ X profile to dig up a tweet in which he proved he was at least aware of the sport (though Biles didn’t compete in the 2012 Games).

Still, there were some users on social media who seemingly defended Owens, writing: “Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens [are] clearly happy together and they can joke about how they met and initially got together but leave it to total strangers on here to get irrationally invested and upset over his comments about their relationship.”

To be fair, Owens is not the only person to end up dating or marrying someone whom they didn’t realize was famous at the time.

Lena Dunham’s husband Luis Felber said he had to Google her before they went on a date. The singer Lily Allen just thought “Stranger Things” star David Harbour was “a sexy policeman from a reality TV show” because he’d posted a pic of himself in his Jim Hopper costume.

Despite the online backlash, Owens seems to be “unbothered” by the criticism over his comments, or at least that’s what he posted on Instagram on Friday.

“Just know we locked in over here,” he wrote.

Business Insider reached out to Owens for comment on the backlash but didn’t hear back immediately.

The tennis champion gave birth to her second daughter, Adira, in August

Serena Williams had EVERYONE talking when she hit the front rows of Paris Fashion Week, and now the tennis icon is giving an inside peek at how she got her glamorous new look.

Serena Williams close up

Serena, who first showed off her Parisian glam just over a week ago, just shared a close-up snapshot of her makeup look on Instagram, captioning it: “Last Friday night, doing final touchups before the show.”

In the photo, the mom-of-two – who welcomed her second child, Adira, with husband Alexis Ohanian in August last year – is pictured looking into a MAC compact mirror as she applies a peachy lip gloss.

Needless to say the 42-year-old’s makeup, and her honey blonde hairstyle, are both flawless.

Paris Hilton responded with a heart-eyes emoji, and another follower called it a “GLAM SLAM” with a fire symbol. Another fan declared, “I love your new MUA”.

The MUA behind it is Richie, a French makeup artist based in Paris, who created Serena’s beauty look for Balmain and the Balenciaga show.

Serena’s beauty looks were also posted on the official @richiemakeup Instagram account, where one follower commented: “Her best makeup in a while, you killed this!”

One Richie Makeup post of Serena looking incredible at Balmain was appropriately captioned, “Glam for the BOSS”.

Serena made the rounds at Paris Fashion Week in style, but it’s likely she’s now back at home with husband Alexis Ohanian in mommy mode as they raise their two young daughters: Adira and big sister Olympia, six.

Her new look may be part of her journey to feel confident after having a new baby – something a lot of new moms can relate to.

After Adira’s birth, Serena, who has 23 Grand Slams under her belt, shared that she’s learning to embrace her body even though it’s not “picture perfect”.

Gauff, who turns 20 years old on March 13, will have the chance to extend her record

Coco Gauff barely defeated Clara Burel 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (4) on Saturday in the Round of 64 at Indian Wells to set a record for most WTA 1000 wins as a teenager with 50. She was shocked when the interviewer told her about the milestone during the postgame interview.

Coco Gauff was shocked when told about record she had just set at...

Gauff, who turns 20 years of age on March 13, will have the opportunity to extend her record to 51 wins when she faces Lucia Bronzetti in the third round on Monday.

“I didn’t know that was the record. I have the most? Oh okay. Yeah I didn’t know that. I thought a couple people were ahead of me,” Gauff said. “That’s pretty cool … hopefully I can close this chapter of my life off good.

“I’m really happy with how my teenage years went. I did everything I wanted to do. The biggest one was to win a major as a teenager. Hopefully I can win a couple more in my 20s. Age is just a number.”

Coco Gauff completes epic comeback
Gauff trailed 4-0 and then 5-2 in the third set of her opening match in the tournament, leaving her a game away from becoming the second top American upset by Burel this year.

The No. 47-ranked player from France beat No. 5 Jessica Pegula in the second round of the Australian Open.

Gauff, who last year won the US Open, is the third seed at Indian Wells and the fan-favorite to win the whole thing.

At the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Wyndham Clark was leading the scoreboard in the third round! Due to the storm, the fourth round was suspended, and Clark emerged victorious. Seemingly, his luck sort of maxed out, and he took home a check for $4 million. But now, it seems that luck is doubling down on Wyndham Clark, as he is looking forward to matching Goat’s legacy.

With the Arnold Palmer Invitational progressing towards the final round, Clark at T3 is just a few strokes away from getting on the top of the leaderboard. If he wins the event, then his name will be written alongside Tiger Woods. Justin Ray, one of the renowned data analysts in golf, shared on Twitter about the foreseeable record. The tweet stated, “The only player to win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Bay Hill in the same season was Tiger Woods in 2000. Wyndham Clark is trying to join him this week.”

The leaderboard after three completed rounds shows Scottie Scheffler and Shane Lowry tied for the first position. Clark had a noteworthy start in the opening round, carding three birdies and two bogeys, ending with a score of 1 under. But the second round was the turning point where he made a comeback. He carded a total of nine birdies and three bogeys and finished the round with 66. 4 birdies, 1 spectacular eagle, 1 bogey, and 2 double bogeys later, Clark sat at T3 after the third round.

Clark’s win at Pebble Beach awarded him 75 OWGR points, propelling him upward to the sixth spot from the tenth spot in the world rankings. He currently resides in the 7th spot, though. As Clark strives for his first Arnold Palmer Invitational title, let’s dive into the nostalgic win of Woods that helped him set the unique record.

Tiger Woods strived at the Pebble Beach and Bay Hill in 2000
Tiger Woods’s performance in the 2000 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am can’t be neglected. The 82-time PGA Tour winner made an incredible comeback that year with his lone AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am title. Woods started the final round only five strokes behind the leader. But, as the round progressed, he carded an impressive eagle on the 15th hole from a distance of 97 yards on par-4. Ending the final round with a score of -15 and a two-stroke lead, Woods carded a birdie on the 18th hole, claiming the sweet victory.

Just like his first win at Pebble Beach, Woods won his first title at the Bay Hill Invitational (now known as the Arnold Palmer Invitational) in 2000. It was his fourth appearance at the event. After four rounds of 69, 64, 67, and 70, the GOAT was 18 under par. Woods also holds the record for four consecutive wins at this event, from 2000 to 2003.

As the Arnold Palmer Invitational heads towards its last day, the question that arises in everyone’s mind is: Will Wyndham Clark match the feat set by one of the most renowned golf stars? Stay tuned to find out!

There’s no better day to reflect on what female empowerment means than today, International Women’s Day. So, of course, that’s just what Lindsey Vonn did. She took to Instagram earlier today to share a clip explaining just what the occasion means to her—and the biggest female inspiration in her life.

Lindsey Vonn.
Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

According to the former professional alpine skier, female empowerment “has a lot to do with education and showing women what they can do in their lives by example,” she explained in the reel.

Vonn didn’t just learn that through her own experience—though we have no doubt that was part of it. She learned it from her mom, who died from ALS in August 2022. “My mother I think was the perfect example to me of what could be possible with a positive mindset and the right attitude,” Vonn said of the way that her mom inspired her. Given the athlete’s success, we have no doubt that her mom really was a powerful and formative force for her.

She doesn’t want that influence to end with her, either. “What I hope for the future is that we all continue to pass it down to the next generation of inspiring young women, empower them, show them what it means to be strong,” she said in the video.

Vonn is doing just that through her namesake foundation. The Lindsey Vonn Foundation is dedicated to “empowering underserved girls through camps, scholarships, and life-changing experiences,” according to the website. Through it, the Olympian hopes to pay her own experience and mentorship forward—and we have no doubt she will.

Djokovic now joins his on-court rival Rafael Nadal’s 400 milestone level victory in his career! Here’s how his wife celebrated his win on social media.

Jelena Djokovic’s confession of love for her husband
The 24x Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic’s remarkable 400th victory, against Aleksander Vukic, at Indian Wells came after his five-year absence from the event. Jelena Djokovic’s Instagram post conveyed this monumental milestone that the Serbinator accomplished in his illustrious career through a post that says “400 ATP Master, 1000 match wins”. Putting up a story of the post with the caption “my love” demonstrated his wife’s eternal admiration and support for this incredible achievement of her husband.

High school sweethearts, Novak Djokovic and his wife have always been the epitome of ever-growing and eternal love. Fans have loved the way they support and adore each other. Therefore, to celebrate the success of her husband, Jelena Djokovic did not hesitate to declare his love for her husband on social media after his spectacular comeback at Indian Wells.

Jelena Djokovic’s struggle for privacy after being married to Novak Djokovic
Jelena and Novak Djokovic started dating back in the early 2000s and got married in 2014. When asked about being married to one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Jelena shared an insight on the struggles that come along with being the wife of a celebrity, so to speak.

“We look at public figures and think that kind of publicity is okay. But as time goes on, you lack anonymity, you lack the privacy to be able to do whatever you like at any time, in any situation ”, Djokovic said in an interview. Further explaining how she deals with this, she said, “I try to resist all these expectations to always be myself and for Novak to be able to be himself.”

But all these struggles have never stood in the way of expressing her admiration and support throughout the remarkable career of Novak Djokovic. Jelena Djokovic’s Instagram post is just another symbol of the off-court love and support that Novak Djokovic receives from his wife.
