Paige has millions of fans on social media

Paige Spiranac, the 30-year-old golf influencer, recently showcased her toned abs in herz latest social media post. Known for frequently sharing pictures and videos of herself on social media, she has accumulated millions of followers online. However, she revealed that some of her fans have rather unusual requests when it comes to the content they want to see from her.

In a revealing white top that displayed her ripped abs, Paige asked her followers, “What type of content do you want to see more of from me on here? (Don’t say feet pictures lol).”

She’s the most famous golf influencer
Despite these challenges, Paige continues to thrive as an influencer in the sports world. With a strong focus on golf-related content, she is fast-approaching the four million followers mark on Instagram. Her journey as an influencer has not been without its hurdles, but she has become one of the best-known figures in the sports influencer community.

In her own words, Paige has been candid about her experiences, revealing the less glamorous side of being in the public eye. Despite the unusual requests and disappointments she has faced, she remains a prominent figure in the golf and influencer world. As she continues to share her passion for golf and fitness with her followers, she undoubtedly inspires many along the way.

In 2018, GOLF.com asked Tiger Woods if his kids had any interest in following his footsteps into the golf world. “No, not really. They’re keen into soccer,” he said. “If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too.” Six years later, his son, Charlie Woods, has become a sensation in the golf world, in part thanks to his uncanny resemblance to his father’s skills and mannerisms. Sam Woods, on the other hand? She’s stayed passionate about soccer, even competing for the Benjamin Buccaneers on the regional level. However, what was turning out to be a remarkable season for the team ended in heartbreak.

The 19-year-old and her team were one step away from the Florida High School Athletics Association’s Class 3A Girls Soccer Regional Finals. Coming into the semifinals with a 17-0 record this season, the Benjamin Buccaneers were the No.1-ranked team in Class 3A, No.2 in Florida, and No.9 in the US. Needless to say, the odds were in their favor against the King’s Academy Lions, who had an 11-4-2 record. However, as the game kicked off on February 9, the Lions proved to be more formidable than expected.

Despite being without their star player, Lola Hathorne, the Lions displayed their defensive prowess. But so did Sam Woods’ Buccaneers. After a goalless regulation play, the match went into 20 minutes of overtime. However, both teams held their ground, and overtime ended with a 0-0 score. That meant an impending penalty shootout.

Tiger Woods Inducted To World Golf Hall of Fame - The Savannah Tribune

Sam Woods’ team took the first shot, but the Lions goalkeeper stopped it. But as the Lions stepped up to the spot, their first penalty was saved, too. With both teams scoring their next two penalties, it was 2-2. But when Woods’ team missed another, King’s Academy saw an opening and took it, leading 3-2. They needed to score just once more to seal the deal, and that’s precisely what they did. Unfortunately, that meant Woods’ team’s unbeaten run came to an end, and so did their season.

Having lost their chance to go up against Edgewood in the Regional Finals, given their stellar stats, the match was a disappointing turn of events for Benjamin School. This defeat pushed Sam Woods and her team out of the race for the State Championship as well, dropping down to third in the district rankings. While this was disheartening, especially after the 5-0 result of the same fixture a year ago, they’ll “learn from this and come back stronger,” per their coach.

As for Sam Woods, what has her three years at Benjamin School looked like so far?

Sam Alexis Woods Biography: Meet Tiger Woods' Daughter

Tiger Woods would be proud of Sam’s wins with the Benjamin Buccaneers
Sam Woods is the 25th-ranked player in 3A D11 stats and has scored 7 goals in her 3 years with the Benjamin Buccaneers, having played 46 varsity games. This season alone, she played in 15 games, scoring 4 goals and making 2 assists. After defeating the Lions in the semifinals last year, Woods’ team played against this season’s regional champions, Edgewood. However, they missed out on the state semifinals as Edgewood got the better of them.

However, the Buccaneers won the District Championship in Palm Beach in 2023 and clinched the Ryan Rogers Remembrance Soccer Tournament later in August. Although Benjamin School’s girls soccer team has not won a title at the state level in the last three years, Sam Woods & Co. will aim to come back stronger next season, making the most of their chances to play for the State Championship!

Lindsey Vonn has carved her name as an icon in sports, not just as an Alpine skiing legend but also as a staunch advocate. Similarly, in the basketball world, athletes like Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu have transcended their sport, using their influence as beacons of hope for those in need. Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu recently squared off in a 3-point NBA vs. WNBA shooting contest during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Each successful shot they made contributed to raising funds for charity. Steph’s charity, Eat.Learn.Play, and Sabrina’s charity, SI20 Foundation, will both receive donations. Moreover, each shot they sank resulted in donations from State Farm to support economic empowerment in the black community.

Lindsey Vonn applauds the impact of Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu
This event was not just about basketball skills; it was about breaking barriers and inspiring kids, especially girls, to dream big and believe they can achieve anything. And now, days after the special event went down, Lindsey Vonn applauded the basketball legends as she also highlighted the impact of sport beyond competition.

In a recent Instagram post, Lindsey Vonn reflected on the profound impact of sports beyond just the world of competition. She uploaded a seven-image carousel post about the latest project of the Lindsey Vonn Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering youth through sports and mentorship. In the post, Lindsey shared her experience working with kids at Aiglon, Switzerland, expressing how engaging and motivating it was to see the impact they could have on young people.

In her caption, she began by quoting Nelson Mandela, emphasizing the idea that sports have the power to enact positive change in the world. Lindsey Vonn then highlighted the message by mentioning individuals like Billie Jean King, Sabrina Ionescu, and Stephen Curry, who have used their platform in sports to inspire and influence others beyond the athletic arena.

She penned, “The example we set has an impact that goes far beyond sports.” Fans of these sports icons laud their contributions to the community and hold out hope that one day the worlds of Lindsey Vonn, Stephen Curry, and Sabrina Ionescu will converge in collaboration as they continue their impact.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 will take place on February 24, 2024, at 5 a.m. E.S.T., live on Peacock. Here are some foolproof match card predictions.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 is still one week away. It will take place in Australis, and the pro wrestling world is buzzing about who could win the Chamber and main event WrestleMania 40. The Elimination Chamber is the perfect place to set up some last-minute rivalries and feuds on the road to WrestleMania. Outside the chambers, this PPV will be headlined by fellow Australians, Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax, in an epic world title match that will be remembered for years to come. Who will win this title match? Who will win the Chambers? Let’s find that out and so much more with Mark Justice.

Rhea Ripley Dec.jpg

The following will provide foolproof match card predictions for the very last major roadblock on the road to WrestleMania: WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul [Elimination Chamber: Winner Gets Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40]
Drew McIntyre will win the Elimination Chamber for three reasons: (1) He needs to get heel heat for taking away CM Punk’s WrestleMania Main Event against Seth Rollins, (2) He is the only Raw superstar in this match, and (3) He is the only superstar who has a current storyline with Seth Rollins. LA Knight and Kevin Owens will be preoccupied with targeting Logan Paul for the U.S. Title on the road to WrestleMania 40. Lashley is still feuding with Karrion Kross. Although it would be nice to see a WrestleMania 31 rematch against Rollins, Orton still has unfinished business with The Bloodline.

Also, like KO it would not make much sense for Randy Orton to get traded back to Raw and battle Seth Rollins for the World Title after recently signing with SmackDown. This match has Drew McIntyre written all over it, and he will finally have an opportunity to win that title at Mania in front of FANS. When McIntyre wins this Chamber Match, WWE should really have CM Punk on commentary to witness his WrestleMania main event dreams blow up in his face as a long term methodology to continue building their feud in anticipation of his return from injury in the Summer of 2024.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Jade Cargill [Elimination Chamber: Winner Gets Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40]
Becky Lynch will win the Elimination Chamber for three reasons: (1) She is the most credible and best well built superstar in the Raw Women’s Division, (2) Her title match with Rhea Ripley would be a marquee match for Mania, and (3) WWE has been teasing a title match between Lynch and Ripley heavily, especially at the Mania Press Conference in Las Vegas. Bianca Belair and Tiffany Stratton won’t win because they are busy feuding on SmackDown, as Stratton is Charlotte’s replacement. Naomi won’t win because she is also from SmackDown and still has to target the tag titles she never lost.

Pro Wrestling Finesse on X: "This lineup for the Women's Elimination Chamber Match would be so beast. Bianca BelAir v. Becky Lynch v. Naomi v. Jade Cargill v. Tiffany Stratton v. Liv

If Becky Lynch does not win, it can be argued that Liv Morgan has a solid chance of winning since she has a long term storyline with Ripley, who viciously attacked her and took her out of commission six months ago. Liv is out for revenge and that could start with the Chamber. However, she should beat Ripley whenever she does battle her for said title. Since Ripley is deserving of surpassing a milestone of 400 days as World Champion, Ripley should not lose at Mania 40 and should solidify her reign by defeating Becky at Mania and then potentially dropping the title to Morgan at SummerSlam.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Judgment Day (c) vs. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate [Undisputed Tag Titles]
Judgment Day will retain the Undisputed Tag Titles because the end goal at WrestleMania 40 from a storyline standpoint is clearly Awesome Truth, who have been interfering in Judgment Day business for months. The Miz and R-Truth have the best storyline to become the next tag champions, especially since they never won the titles when they were originally a team in 2011-2012. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate only recently formed a team and are merely in this tag title match to showcase their chemistry and capabilities to become future tag team champions, just like DIY did on Raw recently.

Prediction: Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax [World Women’s Title]
Rhea Ripley will retain the World Women’s Title against Nia Jax because the end goal for her at WrestleMania 40 is clearly Becky Lynch. It can be argued that Nia Jax has unfinished business with Becky Lynch from Day 1 and could win the title to defend it against Becky Lynch at Mania. However, it would be ill-advised to do a title change on the world title only one month before Mania, and the marquee match that is befitting for a big stage like Mania has always been Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch. It should be a spectacle when this match main events with Ripley delivering the Riptide to Jax.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns & The Rock [Dream Tag Match]
As a bonus, WWE has recently announced that Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will be on the Grayson Waller Effect. This segment was created not only to highlight Grayson Waller in his home country but also set up a huge dream tag team match between Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns & The Rock for the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night 1. It seems unnecessary to double book these individuals at WrestleMania, but it seems that WWE is planning to give Reigns and Rock a victory over Rhodes and Rollins to psychologcally add more heat before Cody finishes the story against Roman.

Prediction: Roman Reigns & The Rock

Serena Williams showed off matching Nike shoes and outfits that she received for herself and her daughters Olympia and Adira River.

Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian was also a beneficiary as he received his very own custom-made Nike shoes. The 23-time singles Grand Slam title winner did not specifically disclose if her family received the shoes and outfits for a particular event.

The 42-year-old posted on social media to share everything she had received.

Alright y’all, check out what I got in the mail. Slide.” Williams said in her Instagram Story.

Next, Williams revealed an eclectic variety of gifts, which included a pair of matching red outfits for her daughters Olympia and Adira River, which were sent to her by Jennifer Zabinski Events (JZ Events). Zabinski was the brains behind Williams and Ohanian’s royal ball in November 2017.

Williams also received three pairs of custom-made shoes from Nike for herself, husband Ohanian, and daughter Olympia. Each shoe featured the name of the intended recipient along with the signature Nike logo. However, Olympia’s shoes took Williams by surprise as she posed a question to Nike.

Nike when did Olympia Ohanian get so big??? Thanks!” Williams asked.

Serena Williams recently shared a body-positivity message with her followers

A recent social media post from Serena Williams saw her posing in a bikini as she held her daughter Adira River in her arms. While the picture was adorable, Williams had an important message to share via the post as well.

In the caption, the 42-year-old encouraged her followers to love themselves just as she loves herself after becoming a mother for the second time in August 2023.

Serena Williams at the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards

Loving yourself is essential. I find that I have to remind myself of that self-love through all different stages in my life. Right now I love that my body is not picture-perfect. I love that I smell like milk – that milk sustains Adira (River) Ohanian.” Williams wrote in an Instagram post.

The 23-time singles Grand Slam title winner also reflected on the bodily changes that motherhood has had on her, and how she is appreciative and not critical of them.

I love getting to know a new version of my body. It is a change, but it’s a change that has been well worth it.”

Claressa Shields still wants a boxing match with Keith Thurman.

The ‘GWOAT’ is currently focusing on a return to the PFL cage. The 28-year-old last appeared in the boxing ring last June, defeating Marciela Cornejo by unanimous decision. With the victory, Shields moved to 14-0 in her professional career.

Throughout her historic run, Shields has barely been tested. Despite going up against the likes of Savannah Marshall and Christina Hammer, few have been able to stifle the champion. With that in mind, Shields has repeatedly called for a boxing match against a man.

Not just any man, however. Instead, Shields has repeatedly called out former unified welterweight champion Keith Thurman. As of now, ‘One Time’ is scheduled to fight Tim Tsyzu on Amazon Prime pay-per-view on March 30.

Thurman verbally agreed to face Shields in an exhibition boxing match last year for charity. However, no fight ever came to fruition between the two. That being said, Shields is still down to face the former champion.

Speaking in a recent interview with Million Dollaz of Game, Shields stated (via Michael Benson):

Thurman is not that great of a boxer. Is he strong? Yes. But what else? Tim Tszyu’s gonna knock Thurman’s a** out. I’m a woman, but I’m bigger than Thurman, I’m longer, I’ve got better skills. How’s he gonna take the punches I give him? Thurman can’t take a body shot. You’re talking to a boxing encyclopaedia.”

Has Claressa Shields ever boxed a man? Controversial sparring session explained
Last year, footage emerged of Claressa Shields sparring with Arturs Ahmetovs.

After the longtime female boxing champion began calling out the likes of Keith Thurman and Jake Paul, sparring footage was released. The session reportedly took place in 2018, with Shields getting badly dropped in a brief clip posted to social media.

The footage was seemingly released by Ahmetovs himself, in opposition to Shields’ statements. Not long after the video was released, the ‘GWOAT’ confirmed that the footage was real but added more info.

According to Shields, the 6-1 male boxer took out the padding in his gloves before the session. While that was never confirmed, there’s no doubt that she was floored by the hard shot.

It’s also worth noting that Shields also released footage of herself sparring with other men ahead of a potential fight with Keith Thurman. Say what you will about her brash trash talk, but one can’t deny that she’ll fight anyone.

Gymnastics fans are agog with excitement eight years after the 2016 Rio Games, with three-time Olympic medalist Gabby Douglas, considering a comeback to the Olympics. Douglas is the first African American to win the Olympic individual all-around champion title in 2012 London. In 2013, Simone Biles entered the elite scene, becoming the first African-American woman to win the US gymnastics championship.

At the 2016 Rio Olympics, as “Final Five” the duo shared the gold medal as a team. While Biles won four medals overall, three of which were gold. There is a certain thrill as they return to the mats this year, overshadowing the tensions in their relationship outside the mats. Certain social media backlash was the precursor to this concatenation of events that involved a woman’s sartorial choices.

A piece of fabric divided Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles
Dubbed “The GOAT,” Simone Biles is the most decorated gymnast in history, standing at a height of just four feet eight inches. Although there were some disagreements along the way to her extraordinary achievement. It happened in response to Aly Raisman’s disclosure of se**al assault by USA Gymnastics doctor Lawrence G. Nassar when the debate surfaced in a Twitter conversation. Raisman’s words, which supported women’s freedom to express themselves sans fear of criticism, ran counter to Douglas’s deleted response, which emphasized women’s need to dress modestly.

Biles publicly called out Douglas, “shocks me that I’m seeing this but it doesn’t surprise me…,” expressing displeasure at the vapid statement and requesting support to protect her friend and colleague Raisman. The incident brought to light a sharp difference in their viewpoints, although Douglas later retweeted, “i didn’t correctly word my reply & i am deeply sorry.”

During the harassment case, Biles never wavered in her backing of 2012 and 2016 gymnastics Olympics team captain Aly Raisman. Later, Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Simone Biles, and Maggie Nichols focused their criticism on the FBI’s improper conduct in the investigation into the charges against Nassar and the intimidation that came from the sport’s governing organizations. Now, with a plethora of bitter-sweet history behind them, both the gymnasts are once again crossing paths after their return.

The veteran gymnasts’ comeback
Following a 2 years and 2 days professional hiatus after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Biles reaffirmed her supremacy last year. She won the 8th all-around national competition in August and the sixth individual Worlds’ medal in October 2023, introducing the Yurchenko double pike vault, a first for women’s competition, and her fifth named move. With 30 world medals—and seven Olympic medals under her belt, Biles is now headed to the Paris Olympics with her confirmed ticket.

Douglas, on the other hand, has been improving on her own and training at WOGA Gymnastics in North Texas under Valeri Liukin’s tutelage, recently stating she “never retired” from gymnastics. In addition, she is Team USA’s winning talisman as she specializes in the uneven bars, the apparatus known for the team’s weakness. With the prospects of another skilled Olympian joining the mix of Team US, the question over their triumphant return to the world stage lingers.

Rafael Nadal continues to recover from the hip injury which ruined his 2023 season

The relationship between tennis rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal has come to light, following a controversial comment made by the Spaniard’s Uncle Toni last year. Nadal missed the majority of last season due to a hip injury and aggravated the problem at 2024’s Brisbane International before withdrawing from the Australian Open.

2024 Brisbane International: Day 6
Rafael Nadal aggravated a hip injury before the Australian Open

Nadal had high hopes for a better start to 2024 after spending almost 12 months recovering from his injury. However, the Spaniard’s uncle and former coach Toni caused controversy with a joke about the 22-time Grand Slam winner’s rivals.

During a conversation with the Majorca Daily Bulletin he said: “Now, what we need is, we need an injury of Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and maybe Daniil Medvedev. We need that many… a lot of problems and then Rafa can play really good.”

Former coach of the Serbian Davies Cup team Bogdan Obradovic has shed some light on the relationship between Djokovic and Nadal’s camps. Speaking to sport he said: “We’ve always been friends with Nadal and his team.

“I don’t know if it was taken out of context, if he wanted to be funny and missed everything. I look at Tony as our friend, I don’t believe he meant any harm.” While Nadal was absent for the majority of last season Djokovic ruled supreme adding three Grand Slams to his tally.

However, the Serbian suffered a semi-final defeat at this season’s Australian Open against eventual winner Jannik Sinner. Obradovic believes that Djokovic will bounce back, with the Paris Olympic Games amongst his targets.

2024 Australian Open - Day 13
Novak Djokovic was beaten in the Australian Open semi-final

“Everything is stable,” added Obradovic. “One defeat can happen to anyone. He is number one, the world’s top. What does it mean to fall? When we measure (Michael) Jordan and all the athletes, no one was that stable.

“What can I say about number one? Even if he falls, he’ll fall to number two. It’s not the beginning of the end and Novak himself said it after the Australian Open. There are more tournaments and the Olympics.”
