Paige Spiranac had her followers shocked with yet another revealing post on social media, this time wearing a spaghetti-strap dress on a golf course.

The ten second clip on her X account shows Spiranac strutting down the course to Cindi Lauper’s ‘Girl’s Just Wanna Have Fun’ before placing the ball on a tee. The clip then cuts to a closeup of her lining up the shot before she smashes the drive and walks off.

At the end of the clip, Spiranac moves her hair back before walking towards the camera and out of the frame.

Fans flooded the comment section with compliments on both her looks and her swing.

‘As always Paige smashing the balls better than most and looking flawless while doing it!’ one user wrote.

‘Simply stunning,’ another added.

‘All hail the queen!’ a third declared.

Spiranac has been keeping her followers entertained by consistently posting content on her X account over the month of January.

On January 19, Spiranac spent time with LIV Golf’s Bryson DeChambeau. The pair played a round of golf together when Spiranac went on a live Instagram Q&A and playfully asked the pro golfer ‘if he would smash.’

‘No, Brooks [Koepka] and I are friends now,’ DeChambeau responded, referring to the five-time major winner’s LIV team.

Spiranac later thanked DeChambeau for their hangout on X.

‘Have to give where credit is due to @b_dechambeau! I’ve publicly trolled him in the past but in person he was nothing but kind, funny, and self deprecating. Total opposite from how I perceived him over the years. And you would think I should know better because it happens to me everyday.

‘I’m excited for you to see the content we’ve been shooting and an opportunity for you to get to know us both better. Coming soon.’

Earlier in January, Spiranac also showed her support for the University of Michigan ahead of the CFP National Championship by posting a picture wearing bikini top with the Wolverines’ logo imprinted on one side.

The two American skiers once shared the record of World Cup wins for women, before Shiffrin overtook Vonn. But how many globes has each of them won, and how do they stack up in terms of the number of medals secured at major competitions?

Team USA’s alpine skiing star Mikaela Shiffrin holds the record of 85 World Cup wins, having tied and then surpassed Lindsey Vonn on 82.

Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin

The former reached 82 wins at 27 years and 302 days of age (after 233 races), while the latter was 33 years and 147 days old when she clinched her last World Cup victory (in 395 starts).

Shiffrin made her World Cup debut in 2011 and raced against Vonn until 2019, when the Vancouver 2010 Olympic gold medalist retired at the end of the season.

The two global icons competed against each other at the PyeongChang 2018 giant slalom event (Shiffrin won gold, Vonn skied out in the second run), and in the Super G at the Are 2019 Worlds (Shiffrin gold, Vonn DNF).

Both skiers represented the Vail ski club during their career and they only shared the podium once in a World Cup: it happened on 19 January 2018 at the downhill event in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, when Vonn finished second behind Sofia Goggia, while Shiffrin placing third.

Iga Swiatek recently took part in recreational go-karting alongside her team following her departure from the 2024 Australian Open. She also posed with her team on the podium to commemorate the experience.

Swiatek had a brilliant 2023 season, winning six titles, including her fourth Grand Slam at the French Open. She also claimed titles at the Qatar Open, Stuttgart Open, Warsaw Open, China Open, and the WTA Finals.

However, the start of 2024 proved lackluster for the World No. 1. Swiatek led Poland to the final, but lost to Germany, despite winning in the singles category..

Then at the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open, Iga Swiatek defeated the likes of Sofia Kenin and Danielle Collins in the first two rounds. However, her campaign in Melbourne came to an end in the third round, where she suffered a loss 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to Czech teenager Linda Noskova. This defeat marked the earliest exit for a World No. 1 player at the Australian Open since 1979.

Following her exit from the Melbourne Slam, Iga Swiatek, accompanied by her coach Tomasz Wiktorowski, physiotherapist Maciej Ryszczuk, and psychologist Daria Abramowicz, engaged in a recreational go-karting session at Racing Center Warsaw.

The Pole took to social media to share a couple of images. One picture captured Swiatek and her team seated in their respective go-karts. The other image featured the moment where the World No. 1, along with her team, posed on the podium with several trophies to commemorate the race.

Following her loss against Linda Noskova at the 2024 Australian Open, Iga Swiatek expressed her determination to bounce back, “reset” and “focus on next tournaments.”

“Well, I just feel like, I don’t know, I lost but I’m going to have more tournaments. I remember just last year getting back to work. I could reset and just focus on next tournaments. So I’m going to do the same this year,” Iga Swiatek said at the post-match press conference.

The World No. 1 expressed disappointment with her performance at the Melbourne Major, acknowledging her hopes for a more successful campaign. However, she emphasized that she has “no regrets” about her loss to Noskova, stating she gave her all and left no stone unturned.

“Still I know that I did everything I could to try to make it work. Technically it didn’t work. But I know I did everything I could. I have kind of no regrets. For sure I wish I could have played a little bit better in this tournament,” she added.

Iga Swiatek also stated that she wants to move on from this loss and focus on her upcoming matches. She emphasized that she will have ample opportunities throughout the year to play her best game.

“This year I feel like I just want to get back to work. I know I’m going to have plenty of chances during the season to show my game,” she said.

Lewis Hamilton has shocked the sporting world by lining up a surprise switch from Mercedes to rivals Ferrari.

Mail Sport understands the seven-time world champion has secured a seat to drive for the Italian firm who have been reportedly offering him a £40million incentive to sign up for the 2025 season.

Today’s development confirms Mail Sport’s world exclusive of last May that Ferrari were in talks with Hamilton – even though this was strenuously denied at the time.

Sir Lewis is currently on £50million-a-year at Mercedes, where he has won six of his seven world championships – and previously expressed his desire to remain with them for the rest of his time in the sport.

But Ferrari chiefs have stepped up their efforts to tempt him across, after Hamilton expressed frustration in recent seasons over under-performing by Mercedes.

A source in Italy said today of those conversations in late spring: ‘They were pushing like mad.

That story of a potential move was denied by all parties last year, including Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur.

But now the Italian press has stated Hamilton, 39, is wanted to replace Spaniard Carlos Sainz, whose contract negotiations ground to a standstill in December.

Hamilton is contracted to Mercedes until the end of 2025, a bind that requires some unpicking but not one that is not insuperable because of an ‘escape clause’.

Ferrari have tried persistently to get Hamilton to join them, including an offer last year

Driving for Ferrari has been an obsession nagging in Hamilton’s head all his career.

There have been flirtations between the two parties for a while, and he has driven red road cars off the forecourt of their Beverly Hills dealership, as well as visited the factory in Maranello.

Mail Sport understands that John Elkann, the company president, has led the initiative to bring in Hamilton for what, if the move materializes, would likely be the last chapter of a glittering career.

Elkann is attracted by Hamilton’s superstar status as the only Formula One driver with truly transcendent fame across the world.

Nothing would cap his successes than winning an eighth title at Ferrari – a milestone that eluded even the great Michael Schumacher, the team’s most decorated champion.

Hamilton won six of his world titles with Mercedes in the space of seven years between 2014 and 20.

However, the team have since fallen off the pace and Hamilton has not won a race since narrowly missing out on a record eighth world championship in 2021.

Hamilton began his Formula One career with McLaren and won his first world title with them in 2008 before switching to Mercedes in 2013.

In terms of race wins, he is the most successful driver in the sport’s history with 103 – 12 ahead of Schumacher, with whom he shares the record for the most world titles.

Sky Sports’ F1 lead commentator David Croft tweeted in response to today’s reports: ‘Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari! Always thought it would happen one day, finally it will and it seems as early as 2025.

‘Seismic move just as it was when Lewis joined Mercedes and like then I don’t see the negatives.

‘But wow, undoubtedly the biggest transfer on transfer deadline day!’

Rafael Nadal’s 2007 French Open-winning racket, Babolat AeroPro Drive, was recently sold at an online auction for $118,206. It has become the third most valuable racket after the Babolat Pure Aero from his 2022 Australian Open-winning run ($139,700) and Billie Jean King’s ‘Battle of the Sexes’ racket ($125,000).

Since turning pro in 2001, Nadal has always used Babolat as his go-to racket. The Spaniard’s most famous racket was the Babolat AeroPro Drive, which he employed from 2005 to 2015. The specs and design of the racket ensured that he could heave through balls with loads of topspin, contributing to his dominance on clay courts.

The 2007 edition of the French Open saw the 22-time Grand Slam winner in tenacious form, as he dropped only one set en route his third title in Paris. He defeated Novak Djokovic in the semifinals in straight sets before getting the better of Roger Federer in four sets in the final.

With such big names on his list of vanquished opponents, it was hardly surprising that Rafael Nadal’s Babolat AeroPro Drive racket fetched $118,206 at the Prestige Memorabilia’s The Tennis Auction. The racket was showcased at the Australian Tennis Museum before going under the hammer on January 29, as per Marca.

For academic purposes, here is a table listing the players that the Spaniard beat during Roland Garros in 2007:

Rafael Nadal’s 2007 Babolat racket more valuable than Novak Djokovic’s 2016 Roland Garros-winning Head

Novak Djokovic’s 2016 French Open-winning Head Speed Graphene Touch PT113B was also sold at an auction nearly two months ago. The Serb’s racket raked in $107,482, which is about $10,000 less than the price at which his archrival’s Babolat racket from 2007 was sold this week.

Novak Djokovic’s campaign for his maiden Roland Garros title saw him beat top players such as Roberto Bautista Agut, Tomas Berdych, Dominic Thiem and Andy Murray.

Billie Jean King’s Wilson racket from her famous 1973 ‘Battle of the Sexes’ encounter against Bobby Riggs remains the second most expensive racket to date, fetching a price tag of $125,000 at New York’s Bonhams auction house. The American is one of the greatest players in history, having won 12 Grand Slam titles in singles, 16 in women’s doubles, and 11 in mixed doubles.

Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings projection following the Australian Open

Despite losing in the semi-finals of the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic still has a stranglehold on the No. 1 Pepperstone ATP Ranking, while champion Jannik Sinner has a chance to make a charge for World No. 2 in the coming months.

Through Miami at the end of March, Djokovic will only need to defend 180 points from Dubai, where last year he reached the semi-finals. The 36-year-old did not compete in Indian Wells or Miami in 2023 and has a big opportunity to gain points.

The three players directly below Djokovic — Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Sinner — will all be defending a significant number of points in the next two months. World No. 3 and Australian Open finalist Medvedev has the most of the group to defend, with 2,850 points. The 27-year-old went through a stretch last year during which he won titles in Rotterdam, Doha, Dubai and Miami, while also reaching the Indian Wells final.

Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings

If you remove all the points that will drop for the quartet through March, Sinner will trail World No. 2 Alcaraz by just 545 points, giving the Italian an opening to maintain his momentum from the past six months. The 22-year-old won ATP 500 titles in Beijing and Vienna before making the championship match at the Nitto ATP Finals.

He hit his highest note yet Sunday when he earned Grand Slam glory at Melbourne Park. Sinner has won 20 of his past 21 matches.

The Top 4 players in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings have separated themselves from the pack. Djokovic, Alcaraz, Medvedev and Sinner are all within 1,545 points, with no player within 3,000 points of them. World No. 5 Andrey Rublev has 5,050 points and World No. 6 Alexander Zverev has 5,030 points.

Djokovic has held World No. 1 for a record 410 weeks, 100 more than any other player in Pepperstone ATP Rankings history (since 1973). Roger Federer was in top spot for 310 weeks in his career.

Alcaraz and Medvedev have also earned World No. 1, while Sinner is at a career-high World No. 4.

Francis Ngannou has claimed that Anthony Joshua doesn’t ‘have the strength’ to win their upcoming boxing clash.

Ngannou is set to face Joshua in Saudi Arabia on March 8, after the Brit’s bout with Deontay Wilder fell through after the American’s defeat to Joseph Parker at the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card.

Wilder’s defeat opened the door for former UFC champion Ngannou to take on Joshua, despite having lost the only professional boxing fight of his career.

Ngannou, 37, fell to a split decision defeat against heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a thrilling 10-round clash back in October, where he also scored an impressive knockdown.

Despite the loss, the Cameroonian is clearly full of confidence heading into the bout with Joshua and issued a chilling warning to the British star on the High Performance Podcast.

During his appearance on the show, Ngannou said: ‘Never say never. Nothing is impossible. We don’t know the strength of Anthony Joshua.

‘Even though I don’t believe he has that strength, we’re going to find out. In two months, we’re going to find out. I’m going to be the one taking his soul’.

The former UFC star has been adamant that he’ll be victorious against Joshua and even fired back at the Brit’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, in a recent interview.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Hearn said he expects his fighter, Joshua, to knock Ngannou out during their match.

He told MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani: ‘I feel like he’s earned that shot – or certainly to continue at that level. And I fancy the fight.

‘You’ve heard me say before, I really believe AJ knocks him out. But he’s a dangerous fight. I know that this guy’s a big, big lump that can really punch, and I think he has no fear, which makes him dangerous’.

As reported by The Mirror, Ngannou fired back: ‘Eddie is a promoter, that’s like a routine for me. It’s deja vu, he said the same thing all of the time just not about Francis Ngannou but about somebody else. That’s how he talks and what he does’.

Elsewhere, during his appearance on the High Performance Podcast, Ngannou offered inspirational advice and also reflected on his journey from African to Europe.

He said: ‘The only person that will help you and change your life is you. It’s not somebody who helped me or anybody that help me that make me who I am.

‘Because, if you are a stupid person, they can help you as much as they want. You won’t do anything. Your life depends on you.

‘I made it in Europe inside a zodiac. The small inflatable zodiac. It was nine of us. [I did it for] The dream. I’d rather have a life without dream instead of having a dream without life.

Mike Tyson has named the hardest puncher from his career that featured wins over Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks and Evander Holyfield, to name a few.

Iron Mike, who will go down as one of the all-time great heavyweight boxers, took part in 58 professional bouts between 1985 and 2005, recording 50 wins and just six defeats.

In that time, he displayed unrivalled power and speed, with his impressive record of 44 victories via knockout being a testament to Tyson’s relentless ‘Peek-a-boo’ style.

So which one of his opponents had the best punch? Buster Douglas shocked the world with a 10th-round KO of Tyson in 1990, and Lennox Lewis recorded a famous knock-out win against Tyson in 2002.

But former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, who beat Tyson twice in the ’90s, was the biggest hitter.

When asked to name the best puncher he came up against, Tyson told The Ring: “Holyfield. He threw terrific shots with both hands and with bad intentions.”

Tyson also described Holyfield as a “great champion” who had everything.

The New York-born fighter went on to name Larry Holmes as having the best defence. “Even though I did win inside the distance, he was very tough to hit cleanly,” he added.

Tyson, meanwhile, described Jose Ribalta as having the best chin because he he hit the Cuban with “everything” and kept coming back for more, adding: “Ribalta stood toe to toe with me. He was very strong in the clinches.”

The 57-year-old, who returned to action in 2020, when he faced Roy Jones Jr in an entertaining exhibition bout, still thinks the Michael Spinks fight in 1988 was his best performance.

“I kept moving forward and threw a couple of great three-punch combinations,” he added. “When I finally caught him on the ropes, I remember turning southpaw in order to throw my right hand to the body and right uppercut.”
