Accompanied by The Money Team and his business partner, Jas Mathur, CEO of Limitless X, Mayweather’s visit to Mumbai in mid-March was more than just a tourist escapade.

“I stopped in India with my business partner Jas Mathur to inspire, empower and introduce Limitless X, as a leading health and wellness brand,” Mayweather said.

During his visit, Mayweather immersed himself in the rich tapestry of Indian culture.

From meeting boxing royalty like Mary Kom to seeking blessings at the revered Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, Mayweather’s interactions resonated deeply with the people and traditions of India.

Mayweather eyes India for possible exhibition fight
Mayweather’s collaboration with Limitless X underscores his commitment to promoting health and wellness in India.

Recognizing the country’s vast population and enthusiastic fan base, Mayweather expressed his desire to raise awareness about health issues prevalent among Indians.

His partnership with Jas Mathur signifies a strategic effort to leverage his influence for a noble cause.

While in India, Mayweather dropped a bombshell by revealing his intention to organize an exhibition fight in the country.

Expressing his enthusiasm for engaging with his Indian fans, Mayweather hinted at the possibility of a high-profile match, even suggesting that his opponent could be someone beyond the realm of boxing, perhaps even an actor.

Floyd Mayweather was recently in India promoting his health and...

“I’m keen to fight in India and am exploring the right opportunities. I might have an exhibition match here in the very near future. My match doesn’t have to be with a boxer, it could be with anyone, maybe even an actor. My match could be with anyone who fits the criteria and is capable of a high-level performance,” the boxing legend said.

This announcement has sparked speculation and excitement among fans eagerly awaiting Mayweather’s next move.

As Floyd Mayweather continues to redefine his legacy beyond boxing, his visit to India marks a significant chapter in his journey toward his goal of making a global impact.

Claressa Shields is about to enter the octagon for the third time today in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Having dominated the female boxing world, the undisputed queen will go toe-to-toe with Kelsey DeSantis. However, before her comeback following two years of absence, she hopped on social media today to convey a message for her devoted fan base!

The event in Saudi is a concoction of PFL and Bellator fighters, who will fight each other in the stacked card tonight. ‘The Goat’ Shields will fight from PFL’s corner after she signed a multi-fight deal with them in August 2023. So, the only question left unanswered is, what did ‘T-Rex’ Shields have to say to her followers?

Claressa Shield is the first woman to…

Turning to Instagram earlier today, the undefeated boxer claimed she was extremely excited about her fight tonight in the Kingdom of  Saudi Arabia. Shields claimed to be the first woman to fight in an MMA setting on Saudi Arabian soil. “Fight Day. [I am] Super excited to work toward the bigger picture! The first woman to fight MMA in Saudi Arabia happens today,” wrote Shield with hours left in her fight.

Meanwhile, her opponent, DeSantis, also had a lot to say about her clash with Shields. In a recent pinch, DeSantis appeared in an interview with Zenger News. When asked about her training camp for the upcoming fight and what Saudi Arabia has been like for her, she expressed her excitement. “It’s been great. It’s been a great camp, and I’m looking forward to a great fight,” said Santis. Meanwhile, she did not refrain from speaking about her preparation for the Shields fight.

Kelsey DeSantis on Shields’ overall progress in MMA
During the same interview, the reporter asked DeSantis about her thoughts on Shields’s time away from the octagon and whether she thinks it would have affected her performance. DeSantis, who is coming off a TKO win over Kathleen Nelson, claimed Shields could have learned a lot, but it takes more than two years to master it.

“Personally, I think you can put in work in a year or two, but when it comes to all of the elements of MMA, the ground game, and whatnot, I don’t think it takes around 5 to 10 years to progress,” said DeSantis. Later, when asked about her strategy for Claressa Shield, Kelsey DeSantis satiated, “I have definitely pulled together some strategies specifically for this fight.”

With mere hours left in their clash, both fighters have expressed their excitement about the night of punches, kicks, and what people are wishing could be an all-out brawl. However, only time can tell whether Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields can get a step closer to her championship goal in PFL. Do you think Shields will conquer MMA like boxing?

Claressa Shields is back in the spotlight, fresh from her split decision MMA victory over Kelsey De Santis. Her triumph in Saudi Arabia wasn’t just another win; it was historic. Now she’s hinting at a major comeback to the boxing ring. But she’s keeping fans guessing with a cryptic tweet.

What’s next? A much-anticipated rematch with Savannah Marshall? Imagine the stakes. Meanwhile, Shields throws a curveball. She tweets about her return, yet details remain shrouded in mystery. Will her next challenge redefine her legacy?

Another Claressa Shields’ night incoming!

Claressa Shields, the undisputed female middleweight champion, recently stirred excitement with her tweet, “Still making money 🤣 I’ll be announcing my boxing match soon too 😂🤣🤩 Ready to turn the USA up again!” This announcement comes hot on the heels of her gritty split decision victory, marking a significant moment in her MMA career. In that intense bout, Shields showcased her resilience, narrowly escaping a tight armbar and fighting her way to a win, with the judges scoring the match 29-28, 28-29, and 29-28 in her favor.

Transitioning back to boxing, Shields hints at igniting the American sports scene once more. Her victory against De Santis was not just a testament to her fighting spirit but also a showed that her MMA career was far from over. Now, turning her focus back to boxing, she seems poised to reclaim her dominance in the ring.

People have been questioning her escape from the Armbar, and Claressa made sure to reply to them on her Twitter.

Shields’ bold take on the submission standoff

In the aftermath of her latest MMA bout, Claressa Shields took to Twitter to address the armbar escape that had fans on the edge of their seats. Her tweet was candid and unapologetic: “If I had the opportunity to break someone’s arm, I’d do it, ESPECIALLY if they didn’t tap! My opponent said she don’t break white belts arms 😂 like ma’am we are in a mma fight. Do what you gotta do. She tried with all her might, and couldn’t.”

One of the greatest heavyweights of all time has made his feelings clear.

Mike Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all-time and dominated the sport for much of the 1980s and 1990s.

Tyson had a total of 58 professional boxing bouts between 1985 and 2005 in a career which spanned three decades and came to a conclusion as he approached his 39th birthday.

In that time, Tyson chalked up 50 wins and just six losses, with an astounding 44 victories on knockout as he demonstrated his stopping power in the ring.

Evander Holyfield beat Tyson twice in the 1990s in back to back defeats, while Briton Lennox Lewis knocked out Iron Mike at a contest in 2002.

Buster Douglas, Danny Williams and Kevin McBride were the other three fighters to have knocked out Tyson in his professional career.

But neither of these three, nor Holyfield or Lewis, were once named by Tyson as the opponent who could live with his punches.

That accolade goes to Jose Ribalta, whom Tyson fought in his 26th bout at the age of just 20 in August 1986.

Tyson won that bout with a technical knockout in the 10th round at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City in New Jersey.

The victory was a remarkable 26 without loss for Tyson, who only lost his first professional fight in 1990 when he took on Douglas in what was then his 38th bout, having been the undisputed world heavyweight champion between then and 1987.

Speaking back in 2014 to Ring TV in a Q&A, Tyson felt that Ribalta was the one fighter who was able to take his punches as he believes the opponent had the best chin and was the strongest he faced.

He said: “I hit Jose Ribalta with everything, and he took everything and kept coming back for more.

“Jose Ribalta stood toe to toe with me. He was very strong in the clinches.”

Jake Paul will be the next boxer to feel Tyson’s power when face each other on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming showdown against Tyson – also known as ‘Iron Mike’ – Paul said: “I idolised Mike Tyson until the first time I met him 4 years ago…he called me Logan. Going to make sure he knows who I am real close and personal.”

Anthony Joshua will likely have a close eye on Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois if they fight on June 1.

It’s now being widely reported that the Croatian IBF mandatory challenger will risk his position to take on the young Brit in Saudi Arabia this summer.

Joshua is the former two-time WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight world champion, and may get a chance to regain his old IBF belt

It’s claimed this bout will take place as part of a mega card alongside Dmitry Bivol vs Artur Beterbiev, Deontay Wilder vs Zhilei Zhang, and the planned Queensberry-Matchroom 5 vs 5 event.

And it will be of keen interest to AJ, as he may well end up facing the winner for a vacant heavyweight world title.

Of course, all four belts will be at stake when Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk meet to crown an undisputed champion on May 18.

However, after that it is known that the IBF will finally order their overdue mandatory fight.

Dubois will be looking to take his spot

Hrgovic earned his place as their mandatory challenger by beating Zhilei Zhang in 2022 and has been patiently waiting for his shot ever since.

However, as Fury and Usyk have signed a two-way guaranteed rematch clause, it is expected that the winner will likely vacate the IBF belt, and just take the WBA, WBC and WBO crowns into the second fight.

This will leave the IBF to order Hrgovic to face the next highest available contender for their vacant heavyweight world title.

At present, this is Joshua.

Hrgovic is the current IBF mandatory challenger

Dubois has the chance to crash the party though.

If he beats Hrgovic on June 1, then the IBF would likely order AJ vs Dubois for their vacant heavyweight world title instead.

Time will tell how the situation plays out.

The British heavyweight champion is looking ripped for his fight vs Oleksandr Usyk

Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has a unique capability of changing his physique in a matter of months through hard training and dedication. Although he has been constantly criticized for the many times he has ballooned out of control, Tyson Fury almost always responds inside the ring with brilliant performances. His poor performance against Oleksandr Usyk was a wake up call for him to get fit again for the most important fight of his boxing career. A unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk that has been moved at least a couple of times but it will happen on May 18. When the initial news of Tyson Fury’s eyebrow injury broke, the man himself posted a picture of the body transformation he experienced in the last couple of months.

Tyson Fury is ripped and ready for Usyk
Although it has been a month since the fight was rescheduled, Tyson Fury has kept on training after a short break with his family. In fact, the shape he is in at the moment seems far better than the shape he has ever been before. Tyson Fury is even showing some decent abs in on of the most recent photos he posted. Folks immediately started comparing him to other famous bald-headed people like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It should be interesting to se how much more Tyson Fury will progress before stepping on the ring to fight Usyk.

It is important to note that to this day, Tyson Fury still hasn’t lost a single one of his fights but the one against Francis Ngannou should’ve probably been a defeat. With the current training camp, that entire experience of being dropped by an MMA athlete in the early stages of that fight made Tyson wake up. If he didn’t get serious preparing for Usyk, something similar if not worst could happen to him. Tyson Fury knows that losing this fight could be dangerous for his impeccable record. Come May 18, Oleksandr Usyk will challenge that legacy.

Fresh off her MMA victory over Kelsey DeSantis, Claressa Shields is not resting. Her combat spirit is unquenched. Shields, the boxing GWOAT, now eyes the boxing ring again. Past confrontations? They fuel her fire. Remember her sparring with Cris Cyborg? That intensity hasn’t faded.

Now, Shields throws down the gauntlet after verbal spats. Alycia Baumgardner, who is now cleared to get back in the ring, is in her sights. Will Baumgardner step up? Can she handle Shields’ prowess?

154 Pounds of fury from Claressa Shields
Claressa Shields took to Twitter with her trademark bravado after Alycia Baumgardner made a post that simply read, “Sign The Contract”, laying out bold challenges in no uncertain terms. Her first tweet thundered, “You got to come direct, who you telling the sign the contract? Y’all H03s ready to get smoked at 154, JUST LET ME KNOW, PUT IT ON THE FLO BIHH -Latto 🎶 #GWOAT #Claressashields #ShieldsBumgardner ????”

This fiery call-out wasn’t just a random taunt; it was a calculated dare aimed squarely at Alycia Baumgardner, newly cleared of her suspension and hungry to reaffirm her dominance in the boxing world. Just as she steps back into the limelight, free from the shadows of her suspension, Shields’ challenge beckons, offering a high-stakes showdown that could redefine both their careers.

Alycia Baumgardner, emerging fresh from her battle to clear her name from doping allegations, now faces a different kind of fight. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, or intense.

Meanwhile, Shields’ competitive flame burned just as fiercely towards MMA powerhouse Cris Cyborg. Merely minutes later, her second tweet escalated the challenge: “This H03 pressed too! Are you fighting me at 154 or not! #GWOAT #ShieldsSlowborg 😂” This wasn’t merely a tweet, she issued Cyborg the challenge with a screenshot showing that Cyborg blocked Shields on Twitter.

Shields also not so long ago revealed that she thrashed Cris Cyborg when they sparred.

Negotiations to knockouts
The high-stakes tension between Claressa Shields and Cris Cyborg teeters on the edge of becoming a monumental showdown. Shields recounted their past, detailing a sparring session where she dominated, stating, “When I fought against Cris Cyborg in 2018, I took it easy on her… The first and the second round, I beat the s**t out of Cris Cyborg.” Her confidence is palpable, dismissing Cyborg’s boxing skills with, “She cannot box… she can’t mess with me on the day I have a flu.”

This recount of their sparring match amplifies the anticipation, with Shields provocatively calling out, “@criscyborg when you want me to spank your a** again!?” Their previous encounters in the ring, laden with competitive fervor, set the stage for what could be a historic clash, transcending the boundaries of their respective sports.

As the world watches, the questions linger—will Baumgardner step into this high-stakes arena? Can Cyborg settle their unfinished business in the ring? Who do you think will rise to the challenge and face the indomitable Claressa Shields?

Mike Tyson has announced a major change to his schedule as he continues with his preparations ahead of fighting Jake Paul in a highly-anticipated boxing match.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has made a surprise announcement ahead of his fight with Jake Paul in Texas later this year. The former world heavyweight champion has decided to stop recording his ‘Hotboxin’ podcast’ as he gets ready for the big match at AT&T Stadium.

Mike Tyson has admitted something has to give

‘Iron Mike’, as he’s known by his army of fans, will be back in the ring on July 20 to take on social media star Paul in a major come back bout nearly two decades after his retirement. The rules of the fight are still undisclosed but we know that neither man will be wearing headgear and they want it to count as a professional fight.

Now, Tyson has chosen to stop making his podcast, which he started two years ago with co-host Sebastian Joseph-Day as he commits to a grueling schedule to get ready for the bout. In recent days, ‘Kid Dynamite’ has delighted fans with his enthusiastic training displays – having posted videos of his preparations on social media.

Announcing his decision, he admitted: “Ladies and gentlemen, these are my final recordings of Hotboxin’. I really enjoyed being part of this journey and all of the people that I met, the remarkable people that I met, in interviews. This is my next chapter in life, please enjoy the following social on my website for my next venture. I love you all.”

Tyson’s podcast has saw him pit his wits opposite a host of famous guests over the last two years, like UFC commentator Joe Rogan and WWE star The Undertaker – real name Mark Calaway. However, the former heavyweight world champion is going to concentrate on getting ready for his fight against Paul.

Meanwhile, the veteran star has been accused of “faking” his viral training videos in recent weeks – with his trainer Rafael Cordeiro having slammed critics who say the 57-year- old is not ready for the fight. Cordeiro believes Tyson will be able to handle himself just fine against Paul despite the massive 30-year age gap between them.

“After first seeing him, it messed with my shoulder,” Cordeiro said on The MMA Hour as he offered some rare insight into what it is like to train with a bona fide legend of the sport, continuing: “I couldn’t hold mitts for at least six, seven months with my boys in the gym.

“My right shoulder was a big, big mess, and I stopped for a while to take care of my shoulder and do physical therapy,” he continued. “Sometimes, I say 1-2-3, and he’s already inside. If I don’t move back, oh lord. It’s impossible. I have to move back.”

“I believe people don’t have to be concerned. We’re talking about a guy who was a two-time champ. The guy didn’t have 20 fights in two years. He knows how to fight. He fought against the best guys in the world. When he steps inside the ring, he knows what to do. It’s not something new for Mike, and this fight is no different.”

The glitz, glamour and tall tales of Las Vegas are like nothing else in boxing folklore. Saudi Arabia may be throwing mega money at blockbusting fights in 2024 but Sin City’s allure remains unmatched for the fight game.

Sandy Ryan

That draw of a neon wonderland steeped in boxing is part of what persuaded Britain’s WBO welterweight champion Sandy Ryan (6-1-1, 2 KOs) to turn her life upside down in pursuit of greatness, changing her training and management team and relocating to the Mojave Desert ahead of Saturday’s showdown with two-weight world champion Terri Harper.

Just don’t expect any of those tall tales.

“The training was good. I’ve been locked in, isolated myself and not seen much of Vegas,” Ryan told The Sporting News. “I’m not here to do that.”

Olympic boxing champion Claressa Shields defeats Tori Nelson

The 30-year-old was sporting a slight black eye from her endeavors at DLX Boxing when we spoke and she isn’t kidding when she talks about the sparring Stateside being of the highest level.

Since September’s controversial split decision draw against WBA and WBC champion Jessica McCaskill — a bout many observers felt Ryan won handily — she’s shared rounds with pound-for-pound superstar Claressa Shields.

“It’s great work,” she said. “I respect Claressa massively for what she’s done in the sport, so for me to get some work in with her, I appreciated it.

“We got some really great rounds in. I couldn’t ask for anything more.”

https://x.com/Claressashields/status/1757504359284322701?s=20

It’s not the first time Ryan has been the choice of gym opponent for the very best. Katie Taylor namechecked her sparring partner as a key ingredient in November’s revenge win over Chantelle Cameron for undisputed super lightweight glory. The WBO champ is now working with Taylor’s manager Brian Peters.

“They’re obviously completely different fighters but they’re both great in their own way,” Ryan said of Taylor and Shields, who are ranked No. 1 and No.2 on the Sporting News’ women’s P4P list. “They’re both very professional in their own way.

Claressa Shields: 'I can drive through Flint now and not get flashbacks' | Claressa Shields | The Guardian

“I picked up a lot of things from both of them, which I’m grateful for. I believe I was a help to them also. It’s great as well because it shows where I belong. I’m up there sparring the greats. It’s where I want to get to, the pinnacle of the sport.”

That journey towards the summit continues this weekend against Harper (14-1-2, 6 KOs), another elite combatant Ryan has faced behind closed gym doors. The 27-year-old had her super featherweight reign ended by Alycia Baumgardner in November 2021 before leaping up four weight classes to dethrone Hannah Rankin the following year.

Despite those exploits, this fight being back down at 147 lbs arguably moves Harper back towards her more natural weight. The confidence of both fighters heading into the matchup has lent a spiky edge to the build-up.

https://x.com/MatchroomBoxing/status/1771166553322487990?s=20

“She knows who I am and what I’m bringing to the table. I’m looking forward to getting the best of Terri Harper,” Ryan proclaimed.

“I feel like she’s going to try and box me but if she wants to stand there and fight me, either way I don’t mind. I’m confident in both, whichever way the fight is going to end up. I’m going to be dictating, I’m confident what I bring to the table will be enough to defeat Terri Harper.”

Harper’s previous title defence up at super welterweight ended in a disputed draw with Cecilia Braekhus at the same Sheffield Arena where Saturday’s blows will be traded.

Outcomes such as that and Ryan’s deeply questionable draw with McCaskill have added weight to arguments that the elite female fighters should be able to compete over three-minute rounds, allowing their range of skills more time to shine and decisively claim an upper hand.

“I don’t mind, I can fight two minutes or three minutes,” Ryan said. “I train three and four minute rounds in the gym so I don’t mind going to three minutes, but it’s not my call. I’m just doing what I’m told to do.

“I also believe that if they did make it three minutes then they have to make the pay equal if they’re making the time equal.”

Ryan vs. Harper is the co-main event alongside undefeated Sheffield super lightweight Dalton Smith’s step-up test against Jose Zepeda. It’s not quite equal billing, but a rejuvenated and re-focused Ryan might just end up stealing the show with a performance worthy of the Las Vegas fight fraternity to which she now belongs.

The Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul which was initially predicted to be an exhibition bout, has now been upgraded to a professional fight under the auspice of the Texas Boxing Commission. Amidst the growing anticipation, Roy Jones Jr. who thought he had “made a mistake” when he agreed to fight Tyson in an exhibition bout in November 2020, also came forth to provide his verdict on what the fight may look like come July 20.

In a video shared by IBA – Boxing on social media today, Roy Jones Jr. revealed the only way ‘The Problem Child’ can win the fight. Jones Jr. said, “It’s very intriguing how it may turn out because Jake Paul has gotten a lot better as a boxer over the days.” However, ‘Captain Hook’ cautioned Paul about overlooking Tyson’s power because of his age. He claimed, “Mike Tyson, even at 57, 58, however old he is, he [is] still Mike Tyson. When I boxed him in [2020], he [was] still punching like Mike Tyson.”

The former champion from Pensacola even seemed confident that if Tyson connected a clean shot to Paul’s chin, there was no way Paul would be able to withstand the sheer power behind Mike’s punch. Jones Jr. revealed the perfect game plan for ‘The Problem Child,’ and said, “If Jake stays away from him for four or five rounds, then Jake has a chance.”

In 2020, Tyson stepped into the ring after 15 years, when he fought against Jones Jr. They fought to a draw with eight two-minute rounds. However, a few months before the fight, the 55-year-old boxer felt that he made a mistake in agreeing to fight Tyson. In an interview with Skysports, Jones Jr. said, “He’s still Mike Tyson. He’s still one of the strongest, most explosive people who ever touched a boxing ring. If anything, I made a mistake going in with him. He’s the bigger guy, he’s the explosive guy. He’s going to have all the first-round fireworks, not me.”

‘Captain Hook’ further added, “I do have first-round fireworks, but he’s known for more first-round fireworks than anybody to ever touch boxing, other than maybe George Foreman. With him having the first-round fireworks, he’ll be against a guy smaller than him, maybe 40-50 pounds smaller than him.”

Similarly, now Jones highlighted that Paul would have to do a lot of maneuvering to follow this plan and win the fight. While Jones Jr. has approved of the fight despite the 30-plus-year age gap, concerns have arisen due to a doctor’s warning to Tyson.

Mike Tyson is in danger if he fights Paul
After the fight was officially confirmed earlier this month, fans and pundits cautioned Tyson about the potential health concerns. This was escalated when an old clip of Tyson from 2022 surfaced online where he was spotted using a cane to walk. A statement from Stephen Hughes, Senior Lecturer in Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University, highlighted the concerning reality of the fight. “In older people, the brain tends to lose volume. This lengthens the bridging veins and makes them more vulnerable to rupture. Alcoholism is known to accelerate brain shrinkage, and it appears that Tyson has this as a past risk factor,” wrote Hughes.

However, Mike Tyson hasn’t been bothered by such reports. Instead, he took to X and shared a short clip of his training sessions along with a message to his opponent, “You still wanna f*** with me? #PaulTyson.”
