Adrien Broner has ignited a social media firestorm by hurling vulgar insults towards undisputed super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner. This personal attack appears to be an escalation of an existing feud between Broner and Devin Haney‘s father Bill Haney.

This has even called for female undisputed champion Claressa Shields’ attention as she felt sorry for her friend-turned-rival. She talked about how her past shouldn’t have been spoken about and that Baumgardner has entangled with a man who has no filter.

Claressa Shields has a wholesome message
A potential future fight has been brewing between two American boxing champions, Claressa Shields and Alycia Baumgardner. Shields publicly taunted Baumgardner, promising a dominant victory if they ever meet in the ring. This challenge came despite Baumgardner’s current suspension stemming from an adverse finding in a drug test. Baumgardner maintains her innocence and claimed in November 2023 that independent testing exonerates her.

Since then, they’ve been going back-and-forth against each other, however the recent verbal altercation of Baumgardner with Broner had even the champion backpedal on her beef. Shields wrote, “I ain’t gone lie… I hate this for her. Only because she arguing with a person who has no filter…. I just hope he don’t post no footage. That’s not fair we all have a past and grow from that.”

This post came after Broner posted a video on Instagram talking about Baumgardner’s past relationships, in response to her Instagram Live with Bill Haney. Furthermore, to understand the context even better, it’s important to know the reason behind the debacle between Bill Haney and Adrien Broner.

Adrien Broner might replace Ryan Garcia
The upcoming super lightweight title fight between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia on April 20th is facing uncertainty. Concerns over Garcia’s recent behavior has prompted Haney’s team to explore alternatives. Adrien Broner, a former four-division world champion, has emerged as a potential replacement. Bill Haney sees Broner’s experience and name recognition as a safer option compared to a lesser-known fighter.

With time running out before the DAZN pay-per-view event, a decision on Garcia’s participation and a potential replacement will need to be made soon. So, Bill Haney called out Broner and said, “If it was going to be on 4/20, is you going to be there? Is he going to be there if it was on 4/20? Can we depend on you, AB, because they say the last guy [Ryan Garcia] went crazy. Since you left without the dough, and want to step up on 4/20. Let’s see if everybody else [Ryan] said they were going to do and didn’t.”

Furthermore, he continued, “I do respect you, AB, so, I won’t be blindsided by your decision. I don’t know who is going to be fighting on 4/20. I know Devin Haney is going to be there. He’s got the date.” After this, they both participated in trash-talking with each other, and Bill tried to convince Broner to fight his son. What are your thoughts about this? The Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul which was initially predicted to be an exhibition bout, has now been upgraded to a professional fight under the auspice of the Texas Boxing Commission. Amidst the growing anticipation, Roy Jones Jr. who thought he had “made a mistake” when he agreed to fight Tyson in an exhibition bout in November 2020, also came forth to provide his verdict on what the fight may look like come July 20.

In a video shared by IBA – Boxing on social media today, Roy Jones Jr. revealed the only way ‘The Problem Child’ can win the fight. Jones Jr. said, “It’s very intriguing how it may turn out because Jake Paul has gotten a lot better as a boxer over the days.” However, ‘Captain Hook’ cautioned Paul about overlooking Tyson’s power because of his age. He claimed, “Mike Tyson, even at 57, 58, however old he is, he [is] still Mike Tyson. When I boxed him in [2020], he [was] still punching like Mike Tyson.”

The former champion from Pensacola even seemed confident that if Tyson connected a clean shot to Paul’s chin, there was no way Paul would be able to withstand the sheer power behind Mike’s punch. Jones Jr. revealed the perfect game plan for ‘The Problem Child,’ and said, “If Jake stays away from him for four or five rounds, then Jake has a chance.”

In 2020, Tyson stepped into the ring after 15 years, when he fought against Jones Jr. They fought to a draw with eight two-minute rounds. However, a few months before the fight, the 55-year-old boxer felt that he made a mistake in agreeing to fight Tyson. In an interview with Skysports, Jones Jr. said, “He’s still Mike Tyson. He’s still one of the strongest, most explosive people who ever touched a boxing ring. If anything, I made a mistake going in with him. He’s the bigger guy, he’s the explosive guy. He’s going to have all the first-round fireworks, not me.”

‘Captain Hook’ further added, “I do have first-round fireworks, but he’s known for more first-round fireworks than anybody to ever touch boxing, other than maybe George Foreman. With him having the first-round fireworks, he’ll be against a guy smaller than him, maybe 40-50 pounds smaller than him.”

Similarly, now Jones highlighted that Paul would have to do a lot of maneuvering to follow this plan and win the fight. While Jones Jr. has approved of the fight despite the 30-plus-year age gap, concerns have arisen due to a doctor’s warning to Tyson.

Mike Tyson is in danger if he fights Paul
After the fight was officially confirmed earlier this month, fans and pundits cautioned Tyson about the potential health concerns. This was escalated when an old clip of Tyson from 2022 surfaced online where he was spotted using a cane to walk. A statement from Stephen Hughes, Senior Lecturer in Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University, highlighted the concerning reality of the fight. “In older people, the brain tends to lose volume. This lengthens the bridging veins and makes them more vulnerable to rupture. Alcoholism is known to accelerate brain shrinkage, and it appears that Tyson has this as a past risk factor,” wrote Hughes.

However, Mike Tyson hasn’t been bothered by such reports. Instead, he took to X and shared a short clip of his training sessions along with a message to his opponent, “You still wanna f*** with me? #PaulTyson.”

Who do you think will win this most anticipated bout? Let us know in the comments below.

Since Francis Ngannou went the distance of 10 rounds against Tyson Fury in his debut match last year, many expected ‘The Predator’ to deliver yet another spectacular performance against Anthony Joshua. Meanwhile, calling himself “the underground king,” Ngannou even declared he would knock out ‘AJ’ with a clean shot. However, Joshua, labeling Ngannou as his “main focus,” considered the fight his “everything“.

Similarly, ‘AJ’ fought the fight, living up to his and his coach, Ben Davidson‘s expectations. In only the second round of the match, Anthony Joshua put Francis Ngannou to sleep. On that note, following the event, several professional boxers took to social media and lauded Joshua’s boxing.

Claressa Shields, Devin Haney, Nico Ali Walsh, and others praise Anthony Joshua’s stunning treatment of Francis Ngannou

After the bell rang, Anthony Joshua, despite being patient, did not waste his time. He kept Ngannnou, who hopes to have a rematch with Fury, surprised and guessing for as long as the duo fought. In the first round of the fight, after Ngannou shifted to the southpaw stance, Joshua measured the range and hit the former with a fast right hand to score the first knockdown of the fight. In the second round, with less than a minute left, ‘AJ’ knocked ‘The Predator’ down for the second time. And right after Ngannou stood up on his feet, Joshua landed a solid cross on Ngannou’s chin, which saw the latter’s soul leave the body.

Reacting to Joshua’s win, the grandson of Muhammad Ali, Nico Ali Walsh, said, “Really hope Francis is okay. No surprise by Joshua…”

On the other hand, Claressa Shields said, “Wow, boxing wins again.” However, she also appreciated Francis Ngannou’s efforts.

Meanwhile, KSI wrote, “What a KO Anthony Joshua. YOU ARE HIM!”

In a similar tone, Sunny Edwards, said, “That’s a bad knockout.”

According to Stephen Espinoza, the result of Fury vs. Ngannou “said more about Fury than Ngannou.” In his opinion, it is not that Ngannou is an extraordinary boxer but, Fury did not fight ‘The Predator’ like he should have had in 2023.

Finally, Devin Haney extended his congratulations to Joshua’s coach, Ben Davidson.

With that said, what do you have to say about Anthony Joshua’s KO win over Francis Ngannou? Do you think the cross he landed on Francis was impressive? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below. For more boxing updates,

Gervonta “Tank” Davis has been out of the ring for almost a year now. Following his dominant win over Ryan Garcia last April, boxing fans have been left wondering what Davis’ next move would be.

Video thumbnail

From Teofimo Lopez to Devin Haney to even Conor Benn, plenty of potential opponents have been floated around. Yet none have materialized and no one knows when his next fight would even come. But on Wednesday, Davis dropped several hints in an Instagram post

Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia rematch in June?
First and foremost, Davis posted a photo from his fight with Garcia. That leads many to believe a rematch could be in the works.

But the timeline doesn’t really add up. Garcia fights Haney on April 20, which would give him at most a little over two months to recover and prepare for Davis. It seems too tight of a turnaround.

Whether the opponent is Garcia or not, June appears to be the set month for Davis’ next fight. And the location will be Houston, if the geolocation on Davis’ Instagram post is to be believed.

Davis has fought in Texas once before, in San Antonio in October of 2020 when he defeated Leo Santa Cruz. But he hasn’t fought in Houston yet. Garcia actually has, with his last fight, against Oscar Duarte, being held at the Toyota Center.

In a special ceremony that took place on the roof of the Dan Family Aish World Center on Monday night, Floyd Mayweather, the undefeated boxing legend, was presented with the Champion for Israel Award, a special honor reserved for those who continue to advocate against hate and antisemitism and stand up for Israel.

Floyd Mayweather Jr keen on exhibition fight in India this year | Boxing News - Times of India

The ceremony was one of Mayweather’s first stops on his itinerary during his current trip to Israel, which was aimed at further strengthening his connection with the country and its people. During the visit, Mayweather, who was dressed wearing a hat and necklace each with a Star of David, met with students currently studying at Aish and joined them in celebrating the Jewish month of Adar, and even sang some songs in Hebrew, surprising the crowd who responded with exuberant cheers.

Mayweather expressed his excitement during the visit, stating, “The rooftop is some of the best real estate in the world. Aish has welcomed me and my team in Jerusalem before, and it is very exciting to be back. This place is amazing. Everyone should come and visit here.” The boxing champion had previously visited Aish in November 2022.

What are Mayweather's most famous fights? - AS USA

Mayweather’s visit to Israel comes at a time when antisemitism is on the rise, particularly in the United States. When asked about his thoughts on this concerning trend, the boxing champion shared a powerful message of positivity and proactivity. “Everybody needs to stay positive and think positive and be proactive in a respectful manner, no matter what. Use your voice, and all means available to stand up for what’s right and stand up against hate,” Mayweather responded.

Rabbi Steven Burg, who serves as the CEO of Aish, met with Mayweather and, after presenting him with the Champion for Israel Award, spoke about the positive messages that Mayweather has been sharing around the world. “As a renowned figure in the world of sports, Mr. Mayweather’s visit and his message hold significant weight. This is so vitally important in a post-Oct. 7 world, and we need to embrace those who stand strong behind Israel. Mr. Mayweather has never ceased inspiring others to embrace positivity and take a stand against antisemitism and all forms of hate.”

Canelo Alvarez aimed a ruthless dig at Mike Tyson.

Canelo Alvarez did not hold back when he was asked about Mike Tyson following his damning comments over a proposed fight against David Benavidez.

Canelo, who is undisputed champion at super-middleweight, was briefly linked with a fight against Benavidez before opting to face Jaime Munguia.

The boxing superstar came face-to-face with the unbeaten 27-year-old in last night’s kick-off press conference in Los Angeles, California.

After the presser, the 33-year-old spoke to reporters on the red carpet and was asked about Tyson’s claim.

Tyson, who is set to face Jake Paul on July 20, accused Canelo of disrespecting the legacy of Mexican boxing by not agreeing to fight Benavidez.

“I can’t believe what I just heard,” the 57-year-old said.

“What’s wrong with Canelo? Is he afraid of losing? Doesn’t he want to give the fans the fight they want to see? Don’t you want to give the fans the fight they want to see?

“Do you not respect the legacy of the great Mexican champions who faced the best regardless of the money?” He asked. “This is a shame for boxing and for Mexico. If I were him, I would accept the fight with Benavidez and show the world that he is the best.

“But it seems he doesn’t have the courage to do it; It is a shame because he has a lot of talent, but he lacks heart.”

Well, Canelo has now responded, and he’s pulled no punches as he aimed a ruthless dig at the former world heavyweight champion.

Asked if he respects Tyson’s opinion after he called for him to fight Benavidez, the Mexican sensation ruthlessly replied: “I’d respect his opinion if he was sober.”

While Canelo holds the WBA (super), IBF, WBO, WBC and The Ring Magazine super-middleweight world titles, Benavidez is in possession of the interim WBC super-middleweight belt.

The American star boasts an undefeated professional record (28-0), having beaten the likes of David Lemieux, Caleb Plant and Demetrius Andrade.

But he’ll have to wait before landing a showdown with Canelo, who will return to action on May 4 against Munguia.

Anthony Joshua has climbed up Ring Magazine’s rankings after his devastating victory over Francis Ngannou.

The former heavyweight champion sent his rival to the canvas in the opening round and then hit the deck again before his lights were put out with a powerful right-hand.

Joshua has now won four bouts in a row against Ngannou, Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin after his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

His strong recent performances have seen him climb up from third to second in the Ring Magazine heavyweight rankings.

Joseph Parker has also risen up the list following his two huge victories over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.

Oleksandr Usyk maintains the Ring magazine title, having first secured the crown in his second win over AJ in 2022.

He is ready to put that belt as well as his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO titles on the line as he faces Fury on May 18.

The £100million ‘Fight of the Century’ was initially set to take place on February 17, only for the Gypsy King to pull out as he sustained a nasty cut above his eye.

Mike Tyson’s trainer has dismissed claims the heavyweight icon’s health is at risk when he fights Jake Paul.

The former champion will return to the ring aged 58 and face YouTube star Paul in a showdown on July 20 in Texas

Paul and Tyson will clash in the ring in July

A 31-year age gap will exist between the pair by the time of fight night, which has led to widespread criticism of the encounter.

Paul and Tyson are expected to fight under traditional rules, with rumors of headgear being in use dismissed.

The fight could even be sanctioned as a professional bout, which would be Tyson’s first since retirement after losing to Kevin McBride in 2005.

After a warning from a doctor over potential brain damage surfaced, Tyson’s trainer Rafael Cordeiro has insisted that ‘Iron Mike’ is in perfect condition to compete.

He said on the MMA Hour: “I believe we don’t have to be concerned about it. We’re talking about a two-time world champion.

“The guy didn’t have 20 fights in two years, he knows how to fight. He’s fought against the best guys in the world.

“When he steps inside the ring he knows what to do. It’s not something new for Mike, and this fight is no different.

“He works hard every single day to go in there and try to knock Jake out from the beginning to the end. He’s going to prove that in July.

Tyson will work with Cordeiro for his latest fight

“You can see fire in his eyes when he trains, and he will never give less than that.

“Mike is going to step into the ring as the old Mike Tyson, and he’s going to try and knock out Jake from the beginning to the end.”

Tyson showed that he still possesses some of his elite natural boxing skills in his exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

But facing a 27-year-old athlete could pose new problems, with questions over his punch resistance looming over the clash.

Training footage of Tyson’s has received mixed reviews, with fans suggesting that the former undisputed champion could be in trouble on the night.

While others have been mesmerized by his natural power, which has been used as a justification online for the fight to be sanctioned.

Tyson’s career has been full of highs, becoming the youngest-ever heavyweight world champion aged 20 back in November 1986.

But a KO defeat to Paul could be a damaging blow to his legacy in the boxing ring, despite the prospect of earning a huge $20million purse.

In the boxing world, eyes are on Ryan Garcia as he preps for Devin Haney. Their fight is slated for April 20th, stirring anticipation. Recently, Garcia’s behavior has sparked discussions. His social media is a mix of erratic and intriguing posts. A notable clip showed him shadowboxing in slow motion.

Derrick James, his trainer, watched, visibly annoyed by the spectacle. This wasn’t typical training footage. Yet, Claressa Shields saw potential in Garcia’s mitt-hitting session. The champion boxer shared the clip, signaling approval. Her recognition shifts the narrative, suggesting Garcia is more focused than perceived.

Ryan Garcia recently took to social media, flashing speed in a compelling mitt workout video. He captioned the post with a blend of humor and self-awareness, stating, “Nothing to see here 👀👀👀 I’m crazy remember 😆😆😆 A lunatic that boxes oh shoot watch out 🤜 Who knows what this manic may do 😅.” This post emerges amidst the boxer’s series of enigmatic and controversial social media activities, sparking widespread speculation about his state of mind and readiness for the upcoming bout.

In response, Claressa Shields, the GWOAT, shared Garcia’s clip on her story, offering her stamp of approval. She wrote, “Now this actually looks good,” tagging Ryan, thereby aligning her credibility with his displayed skills. Her endorsement serves as a significant morale booster.

Subtly suggesting that behind Garcia’s erratic public persona lies a focused athlete who is seriously honing his craft for the high-stakes clash against Devin Haney. Although Ryan looks good in this clip, he still has things going on with him outside the ring.

Ryan Garcia claims that his ’emotional clip’ was shortened to make it look different
Ryan Garcia recently addressed the misconceptions surrounding a particularly emotional clip circulating online. On his X account, he clarified the tears shed were an expression of his deep religious fervor, not mental health concerns. “Praise Jesus, those who know the Holy Spirit will make a grown man cry. You shortened the video I was worshipping God on my TikTok live with my community,” Garcia expressed, emphasizing the spiritual context misunderstood by many.

He criticized the misleading portrayal, stating, “I love God and you titled this as if I was crying due to mental instability. I find it distasteful, and disrespectful to my beliefs. But again, get your clicks and views. See you 4/20.” The Victorville native called out famed journalist Michael Benson for posting the clip to gain views. This statement also reflects Garcia’s attempt to set the record straight, reinforcing his connection to his faith over unfounded speculations.

As Garcia continues to fight the demons, what’s more important is the upcoming Brooklyn fight between the former undisputed lightweight champion and the current WBC Super Lightweight Champion. Will this blend of vulnerability and strength propel ‘King’ to new heights? Garcia’s fight against ‘The Dream’ goes down to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
