The last year was a huge success for Charlie Woods! Tiger Woods’s son played the most number of events in the 2023 season and may start to replicate the success he achieved then in the 2024 season too. For now, the junior golfer has not competed in any of the matches. The 14-year-old started school in January and is probably waiting to make the official start soon.

Looking at his past season’s schedule, the 14-year-old may play in March and attempt to qualify for one of the biggest junior championships that usually happens near the end of the season in November.

Charlie Woods’s probable step toward the national championship
Last year in September, Woods Jr. won the Last Chance Regional event by hitting an 8-foot birdie at the par-4 18th hole to qualify for the Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship. This was the second biggest moment of his amateur career as his team also captured the FHSAA Class A state championship in November. Interestingly, he might be on to something bigger in the 2024 season.

The qualifying event for the 2024 Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship will be held in March at the Mission Inn Resort & Club. The event will start on June 26 and end on the 27th. Charlie Woods may participate in the event as it is the Florida Regional Final, his home state.

The event still has a deadline of Friday, June 21 (midnight). Although Woods’s name is not on the participating list yet, he may soon apply for it. In 2023, Woods Jr. was 14 strokes away from winning the Notah Begay III Junior Golf Championship and tied for fourteenth spot concluding the 54 holes with a final score of 2 over 215.

Last year, it was the last event before the Final Championship in Coushatta; this year as well, Charlie Woods may follow a similar schedule.

In the past season, Woods Jr. had his father caddie for him in all the events, which broke the news that Woods was healthy enough to return to golf. However, will Woods caddie for his son this year?

Can Tiger Woods caddie for his son with health issues?
t was at Riviera that Tiger Woods had his official start on the PGA Tour after his surgery in April 2023. However, the anticipated rounds of Woods were cut short as he withdrew from the event, citing the flu. By the time Charlie competes, Woods will be healthy again to caddy for his son since his influenza will probably recover. The ending of the GOAT’s first appearance was not good, but the start was also somewhat less attractive.

In round one of the Genesis Invitational, Woods shanked the last hole. After playing 18 holes, Woods experienced back spasms again. It should be noted that the 15-time major champion has had six back surgeries in his life. It highlighted that Woods cannot take as much pressure as he previously used.

However, he might caddie using a motorized golf cart since he loves to spend time with his son on the course. As for the regional finals, the NBIII committee asks for prior approval for the caddies to use the golf cart. Once that is acquired and his health is available, the golfer may caddie for Charlie, just like last year.

In 2018, GOLF.com asked Tiger Woods if his kids had any interest in following his footsteps into the golf world. “No, not really. They’re keen into soccer,” he said. “If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too.” Six years later, his son, Charlie Woods, has become a sensation in the golf world, in part thanks to his uncanny resemblance to his father’s skills and mannerisms. Sam Woods, on the other hand? She’s stayed passionate about soccer, even competing for the Benjamin Buccaneers on the regional level. However, what was turning out to be a remarkable season for the team ended in heartbreak.

The 19-year-old and her team were one step away from the Florida High School Athletics Association’s Class 3A Girls Soccer Regional Finals. Coming into the semifinals with a 17-0 record this season, the Benjamin Buccaneers were the No.1-ranked team in Class 3A, No.2 in Florida, and No.9 in the US. Needless to say, the odds were in their favor against the King’s Academy Lions, who had an 11-4-2 record. However, as the game kicked off on February 9, the Lions proved to be more formidable than expected.

Despite being without their star player, Lola Hathorne, the Lions displayed their defensive prowess. But so did Sam Woods’ Buccaneers. After a goalless regulation play, the match went into 20 minutes of overtime. However, both teams held their ground, and overtime ended with a 0-0 score. That meant an impending penalty shootout.

Sam Woods’ team took the first shot, but the Lions goalkeeper stopped it. But as the Lions stepped up to the spot, their first penalty was saved, too. With both teams scoring their next two penalties, it was 2-2. But when Woods’ team missed another, King’s Academy saw an opening and took it, leading 3-2. They needed to score just once more to seal the deal, and that’s precisely what they did. Unfortunately, that meant Woods’ team’s unbeaten run came to an end, and so did their season.

Having lost their chance to go up against Edgewood in the Regional Finals, given their stellar stats, the match was a disappointing turn of events for Benjamin School. This defeat pushed Sam Woods and her team out of the race for the State Championship as well, dropping down to third in the district rankings. While this was disheartening, especially after the 5-0 result of the same fixture a year ago, they’ll “learn from this and come back stronger,” per their coach.

As for Sam Woods, what has her three years at Benjamin School looked like so far?

Sam Alexis Woods Biography: Meet Tiger Woods' Daughter

Tiger Woods would be proud of Sam’s wins with the Benjamin Buccaneers
Sam Woods is the 25th-ranked player in 3A D11 stats and has scored 7 goals in her 3 years with the Benjamin Buccaneers, having played 46 varsity games. This season alone, she played in 15 games, scoring 4 goals and making 2 assists. After defeating the Lions in the semifinals last year, Woods’ team played against this season’s regional champions, Edgewood. However, they missed out on the state semifinals as Edgewood got the better of them.

However, the Buccaneers won the District Championship in Palm Beach in 2023 and clinched the Ryan Rogers Remembrance Soccer Tournament later in August. Although Benjamin School’s girls soccer team has not won a title at the state level in the last three years, Sam Woods & Co. will aim to come back stronger next season, making the most of their chances to play for the State Championship!

After announcing the launch of Sun Day Red, Tiger Woods shared what his kids Sam and Charlie told him about his apparel line with TaylorMade Golf.

Tiger Woods is exploring a new course.

After the pro golfer announced his apparel line Sun Day Red with TaylorMade Golf, he revealed how his daughter, Sam, 16, and 15-year-old son Charlie’s reactions were on par with how any teen would respond.

Tiger Woods' daughter Sam amazes as her father's caddy for first time | Marca

“They are kids, right?” he told Erin Andrews at a Los Angeles press event on Feb. 12. “Something that looks cool, just doesn’t. ‘Dad, you serious?’ Things of that nature.”

Still, the athlete wants his kids—who he shares with ex Elin Nordegren—to have a grip on what he was doing.

“When I explained the process to them and the material that we’re gonna be using—the high-end premium products—that kind of goes a little bit above them,” he continued. “But they said ‘Dad, is it going to be cool?’ And I said, ‘Of course it’s gonna be cool.’ And that’s all they care about.”

And while Sam has served as his caddie and Charlie followed in Tiger’s footsteps by playing golf himself, the 15-time majors champion isn’t putting pressure on his son to sport his new line.

“He can wear whatever the hell he wants,” the 48-year-old admitted. “I just wish I had his hair.”

Tiger Woods, Charlie Woods

Because in the end, they’re separate people—something Tiger has made very clear to the sports community.

“Don’t compare him to me,” Tiger said on a 2022 episode of Another Golf Podcast. “‘Cause he’s not me, he’s Charlie, OK? He’s going to be his own person. Whatever road he goes down, he’s going to go down his own road and he’s going to create his own path.”

And to him, that’s life’s hole in one.

“That to me is so important as a father that I provide that environment and that support that he can go down whatever path he wants to,” Tiger continued. “I just want him to be the best at it.”

Who is Tiger Woods partnering up with? This question has dominated the minds of the ardent fans of the legend in the community ever since he exited Nike and teased a new apparel announcement with a couple of cryptic messages, one of which came out just a while back. Now, interestingly, the golfer’s final ‘Sunday Red’ tease seems to hint at a partnership with a certain brand, none other than Greyson Clothiers.

A tweet was shared by TWLEGION, a fan page dedicated to the professional, dishing out their “initial observations” regarding the post that Mr. T shared on February 10. While doing so, the handle seems to have taken a page out of the rumors associated with the legend’s son, Charlie Woods, who is reportedly said to have signed a deal with Greyson Clothiers.

Is Tiger Woods set to sign with Greyson Clothiers?
Woods had earlier divulged how he would reveal the details surrounding the ‘Sunday Red’ brand on February 12th. Well, commenting on the second tease following the same, the post shared on social media by TWLEGION mentions how the “collar” of the red shirt that the golfer sports in the X post “resembles Greyson stitch pattern and design.”

Reports, as per the sightings, thus indicate he is set to follow his son to the clothing company. Earlier in December 2023, the 14-year-old athlete was also rumored to have signed with Greyson Clothiers owing to his sporting garments from the label during his PNC Championship appearance with his father. Moreover, he was also welcomed to the family by NFL Sensation Larry Fitzgerald on his Instagram story, thereby adding fuel to the fire of speculations surrounding the same.

Well, that wasn’t all the fan page observed from the recent picture posted by the 15-time major champ. Commenting on his attire, the tweet also recounted how the legend “has never worn woven belts like this.” Adding on, however, they also pointed out how only guys like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler wear “a belt similar to this from Nike.”

However, was that all that was observed from the post that was shared by the golfer? No, not even close, as another fan site put on their detective hats to dish out another set of speculations as per the recent sightings.

Woods’s cryptic announcement hints at partnership
TWSPOT, which is yet another fan site for the legend, went ahead to put on their sleuthing spectacles to observe the gloves that the 48-year-old was wearing in the post. They pointed out how “TaylorMade’s new Sunday Red logo is visible on the glove,” all the while speculating an alliance with his trusted club makers.

Nevertheless, in the end, that’s what they are—just rumors. But not to worry, just one more day is remaining for the athlete to make do with his promise and let his fans and the community know what or who is behind the iconic ‘Sunday Red’ announcements. Let us calm down and wait a bit more!

Tiger Woods’s first brand collaboration was with Nike, his controversial partner of almost three decades. As the golf town gets bombarded with rumors of a possible split between the two giants, a deep dive into the two would reveal how it all started.

Rewinding the reels of history on Tiger Woods’s and Nike’s meet-cute
It all started when Tiger Woods turned pro at the age of 20 and took over the golf world with his calculated drives. Nike was not far behind in spotting this talent and shortly signed a deal that would later translate into one of golf’s most lucrative endorsement contracts with the emerging star. This is when the decades-long relationship between the two sports giants took off.

Tiger Woods' schedule taking shape after PNC announcement

Their first encounter was when Phil Knight, the then-CEO of Nike, signed a $40 million five-year contract with the then-turned-pro at the age of 20. What followed were several contracts that were renewed and renegotiated over the decades. During all those years of collaboration between the two, Nike has reportedly paid $500 million to the five-time major champion.

However, things do not seem to be as jolly as this almost dreamy story between Nike and Tiger Woods, which has hit a bumpy road. Speculations of a possible split have engulfed the golf world in the last few months. The golf world then took the fifteen-time major winner’s son, Charlie Woods, not following in his father’s footsteps with a grain of salt.

As the 14-year-old sensation goes on to have signed his first deal more than half a decade before his father did, his ‘ditching Nike’ move has added fire to the fuel of a predicted split between his father and the billion-dollar market giant. But who exactly welcomed CW to the Greyson pack and became the Phil Knight of his success story?

Charlie Woods gets welcomed to Greyson Clothiers.
Junior Woods was recently welcomed to the Greyson Clothiers family by Larry Fitzgerald, one of the most valuable people on board with the brand. The NFL sensation posted the news of Tiger Woods’s son joining the pack on his Instagram account, which then led to a series of speculations in the golf world.

Even though Charlie Woods has not formally commented on the matter, Greyson Clothiers, a brand with a vision to create a fusion between fashion and functionality, has affirmed Fitzgerald’s proclamation by reposting a welcome to Charlie Woods. However, the post was later deleted, leaving the entire golf world to make wild guesses!

Ever since Tiger Woods made his triumphant return from his sabbatical, he has consistently found himself in the media spotlight, with each instance capturing public attention for various reasons. The most recent being about his probable fallout with Nike. But amidst the Nike-Woods chaos, Charlie Woods’s alleged Greyson deal has stolen the limelight. The spotlight on Woods Jr., stealing the show at a mere 14 years old, paints a bigger picture.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Charlie, at just 14 years old, has probably signed a deal with Greyson Clothiers. He was welcomed into the Greyson Clothiers family by famous NFL player Larry Fitzgerald, who posted the news of Woods Jr. joining the pack on his Instagram account.

Adding fuel to this already heated situation is the intriguing detail from last week’s PNC Championship: while the five-time Masters winner adorned himself in Nike attire, Charlie sported garments from Greyson Clothiers. The timing of this apparel contrast is noteworthy, given that Tiger’s longstanding deal with Nike was set to conclude over the weekend following the father-son joint participation in the PNC Championship.

However, the most significant twist unfolded within hours after midnight, as Tiger’s Nike contract officially expired, marking a pivotal moment for Charlie, who promptly inked his first major sponsorship deal with Greyson. Notably, with his deal with the clothing brand, Charlie has outshined his father by almost 7 years! The 82x PGAT winner signed with Nike when he was 21, unlike Charlie, who bagged his first endorsement at just 14 years old.

Along with a passion for golf, Charlie Woods has also inherited a unique sense of style from his father. The 15-time major champion is one of those rare golfers who is not only excellent on the field but also has a huge following for his style.
