Last August, Bridges and the Irishman attracted notable scrutiny for their ringside snapshots during the Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius boxing bout, leading to fan conjecture about their connection.

Bridges was one of the models endorsing McGregor’s widely-discussed beverage, Forged Irish Stout, during the event. She subsequently revealed that ‘The Notorious’ had officially sponsored her to promote the stout.

When Ebanie Bridges opened up about her team-up with Conor McGregor
Ebanie Bridges discussed her enduring friendship with Conor McGregor, highlighting that ‘The Notorious’ has consistently provided support throughout her boxing pursuits.

In an interview with Boxing King Media in August 2023, Bridges emphasized that her relationship with the UFC fighter is strictly professional. She underscored McGregor’s prowess as a shrewd entrepreneur, particularly his effective promotion of products, as a key factor in their collaboration:

He reached out to me and said, ‘Hey, you wanna be part of the team and be part of the Forged army and partner up with me,’ and help promote his stout. So what better way to promote than to get pictures with the ‘Blonde Bomber’ at an Anthony Joshua fight, wearing your gear? And it worked, didn’t it? Because we’ve broken the internet again and everyone’s talking about it… It’s just business.”

She added:

“You think Conor McGregor would be with me in public, doing everything that we’re doing, like getting me to be a part of his forged Army team if his fiancee had a problem with it, these people who sit at home, know nothing about show business, no nothing about celebrity and what it’s like to be famous, you have to have very very thick skin to one be a celebrity and be in a relationship with a celebrity, and she gets it.”

McGregor posted a new video of him sparring that drew praise from Bridges but fans told him to choice a training partner that will actually hit back

Conor McGregor’s latest training video sparked praise from close friend Ebanie Bridges – but some of his fans didn’t share the same sentiment.

The UFC legend is gearing up for his highly-anticipated comeback fight against Michael Chandler but is still without a date despite being announced over a year ago. McGregor has been posting more training footage of late compared to last year and the likes of his teammate Kiefer Crosbie and UFC star Paulo Costa praised him for looking “sharp” in the clio.

World champion boxer Bridges commented flame and love heart emojis whilst boxing legend Evander Holyfield wrote: “Ok then”. Some fans questioned McGregor’s sparring partner in the clip with one comment reading: “Stop sparring yesmen and get someone that tries to hurt you.”

“He needs more sparring partners that will actually throw punches at him, because these guys ain’t it,” a second comment read. “Why don’t you actually spar an actual UFC fighter? For example, go train with Khamzat, I remember him inviting you to train with him,” another user wrote. “Conor needs to spar guys who actually want him to get better not some yes men,” a final comment read.

McGregor was ineligible to fight for most of last year having dropped out of the USADA drug testing pool after breaking his leg. The Irishman re-entered the testing pool last October but the UFC have since cut ties with USADA to launch a new testing program with Drug Free Sport. McGregor moved closer to his comeback fight by providing two samples to the organization last month.

Assuming that McGregor doesn’t fight until late summer, over three years would have passed since his last fight. McGregor and Chandler were pushing for their fight to take place at UFC 300 in April, but head honcho Dana White insisted the Irishman is unlikely to fight until autumn.

Chandler said of his fight with McGregor: “I want battlegrounds of epic proportions, I want to stand in the cage with that man, I want to break that man’s will, I want to break his jaw. I want to separate him from consciousness, completely flatline him inside the octagon, and then we say farewell to the sport’s biggest star. Then we can go about our merry way.”

After Michelle Joy Phelps, Ebanie Bridges has taken to social media, criticizing the recent decision from America’s national governing body for amateur/Olympic-style boxing. Not so long ago, news broke about USA Boxing allowing transgender athletes to compete against women. Although, trans athletes under the age of 18 would have to fight according to their birth gender.

The former Bantamweight champion has always been critical of the topic, having criticized the prospect of trans athletes competing against biological women before. However, after yesterday’s update from USA Boxing, Bridges went on a rant on X (formerly Twitter), calling for all women to come together to stop biological men from competing against women.

Ebanie Bridges doesn’t think trans athletes should compete against women in any sport
In her first tweet, the Aussie labeled the decision wrong on every level possible, arguing not to agree to the rule any time soon. She claimed it was bad enough to have trans athletes breaking records in various other sports. However, it’s even worse when trans boxers fight women in sports because the aim here is to hurt each other.

“It’s a bit different to them breaking our skulls in combat sports where the aim is to HURT YOU not just break a record,” wrote Bridges. She goes on to show her opposition to allowing trans athletes in any sport. “I think it’s wrong in ALL SPORT… I have nothing against trans, but can’t be skewing the line in sport….You don’t see reference or debates for transmen in sport…cos it’s not a threat…,” wrote Bridges.

In a later tweet, Bridges suggested she doesn’t care about being politically correct because allowing biological men to compete against women doesn’t sit well with her. “The girls need to stick together or women’s sport in 50 years will be filled with male-born champions,” she also added. In another tweet, the same day, she claimed to feel sorry for the first woman who had to fight a trans fighter.

However, Bridges wasn’t done! In another tweet, she brought up aspiring female boxers. “Imagine being a little girl with a dream to break records to train her whole life to then be beaten by a transwoman who’s been a man their whole life except the last two years. Little girls gonna be thinking what’s the point in a few years,” wrote Bridges.

As USA Boxing introduces new rules for transgender athletes, Bridges expressed her discontent with the idea of trans women fighting women. What did you think about the decision from USA Boxing? Do you think it’s fair for other female boxers?

The Blonde Bomber opted to attend Mikaela Mayer’s IBF welterweight title fight against Natasha Jonas in Liverpool instead of the Misfits 12 event in Leeds on Saturday (January 20) night.

But she made sure she didn’t miss out on good pal Brooke’s championship challenge against former Love Islander AJ Bunker. Bridges had the bout on her phone at ringside at the M&S Bank Arena.

Bridges reacted: “What a f***en shot, my girl @ellebrookeuk baby bomber… folded her!” She then uploaded a clip of herself watching that moment with the caption: “F*** YEAH.”

She went on to reveal that she was set to call it quits on her in-ring career had seen been the one to lose. “I was definitely going to quit if I lost it, not even joking, so that’s a sign,” she added.

Bridges, meanwhile, bore witness to a cracking clash between Mayer and Jonas. She posted mid-way through: “What a fight this is!!!”

After the pair went the distance, home city favorite Jonas kept hold of her title with a narrow split-decision victory.

The two are more than just training partners

ELLE BROOKE has found a best friend and mentor in Ebanie Bridges – but the pair are no longer joined at the hip.

Brooke first met the former bantamweight world champion at trainer Mark Tibbs’ Essex boxing gym.

And Bridges would go onto corner the social media star while helping her in training and sparring.

The two have even shot racy content together on OnlyFans but Bridges has now switched to Dave Coldwell’s gym in Rotherham.

Brooke, 26, told SunSport: “She’s still my mentor, 100 per cent.

“I don’t see her as much, obviously she was training for her fight and she’s up North now so we’re separated.

“If she was round the corner we’d see each other all the time but we’re still such good friends, we’re like sisters.

“She’s less involved with the boxing now but she’s always there for me mentally and she’s honestly the biggest and the best hype woman in the world. I can always go to her for advice.”

Brooke bravely opened up on how a party lifestyle drove her to drugs and depression – before boxing helped turn her life around.

The sport also introduced her to soul sister Bridges and the rest of Tibbs’ stable.

She said: “If it wasn’t for boxing I would’ve never have met her.

“I would never have moved to Essex, I would never have met Ebanie, never have met some of the boys in the gym.

“And because I don’t go out on the weekends, they’re the ones I rely one for company a lot of the time. My life revolves around boxing now.”

Brooke makes her return in Leeds on Misfits 12 against ex-Love Islander AJ Bunker, who she beat in 2022.

The bad blood has since brewed so bragging rights will also be on the line as well as Bunker’s Misfits belt.

Brooke said: “We know of each other now. When we first fought it was just someone else in the influencer scene to take on that fight.

“Whereas now she’s champ, I’ve already beat her and it’s her opportunity for redemption, my opportunity to win the belt and that’s the story.

“We also aren’t that fond of each other, so it’s got great ingredients for a good fight.”

Sometimes, the best way to shake off a loss is by treating yourself to the luxuries of life. Ebanie Bridges might have had the same idea as she bought herself a brand spanking new Porsche 911 Carrera 992 for Christmas. The car is valued at approximately $170,000 but after a surprising loss against Miyo Yoshida, the price tag didn’t bother the Aussie.

Not so long ago, Bridges went toe-to-toe with Miyo Yoshida in the undercard of Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis on 9 December at Chase Centre Arena. However, she failed to win the fight as Yoshida was crowned the victor via unanimous decision. So, when Bridges shared pictures of her new car on X (formerly Twitter), fans were surprised, to say the least.

Fans claim Ebanie Bridges deserves it!
Alongside the pictures, Bridges wrote in the caption, “Thought I’d treat myself to an early Christmas present… I saw this Porsche 911 Carrera 992 in The Essex Car Group showroom and thought ‘that’s a bit of me.’ Beautiful rainy British day to really make it pop for the pics.” Since the tweet went live on the platform, it has collected nearly 500K views, more than 3.5 K hearts and a plethora of comments. Despite her recent loss, most people congratulated the boxer.

One user congratulated Bridges while asking her to enjoy her new car.

Someone else suggested she bought the car from her OnlyFans earnings.

Another user wished Bridges Merry Christmas while congratulating her on the new car.

The next user commended Bridges for her choice of car.

One user claimed Bridges deserves the new car and encouraged the purchase.

With the new car out of the way, here is what Bridges said to Yoshida after the fight.

Bridges asks Yoshida to enjoy the win
The loss for Ebanie Bridges came as a surprise to everyone, especially after her win over Shannon O’Connell in December 2022 via technical knockout. However, Bridges seems to be taking the loss on the chin as she penned a sweet message to Yoshida after the fight.

After the fight concluded on 9 December, Yoshida turned to X, thanking Bridges for the fight. So, the Leeds resident wrote back, claiming it was a pleasure to fight Yoshida. “Thank you for the beautiful words. A humble champion. It was my pleasure to share the ring with you. God bless you. Enjoy your victory,” wrote Bridges.

Even though Ebanie Bridges suffered a surprising loss at the hands of Yoshida, the Aussie’s recent purchase of a new car took the boxing world by surprise. However, the bigger question is – did you like her new car? Did you watch the Bridges vs. Yoshida fight?

n a striking Instagram tribute, Ebanie Bridges resurrects the legacy of Johnny Tapia. A boxer whose life reads like a tragic script, Tapia’s tale intertwines triumph with heartache. Born in Albuquerque, his world was shadowed early by family tragedies. Tapia’s ring dominance, marked by five world titles, belied his tormented life.

His bouts were less about opponents and more about personal demons. Known for his jump roping prowess and fearsome combos, Tapia’s story is an enigma. He was declared clinically dead six times, yet always fought back. This reel, a window into his soul, captures the essence of a man fighting a two-front war.

A legacy captured in motion: Tapia’s reel and Ebanie Bridges’ tribute
The original Instagram account of Johnny Tapia unveiled a reel that encapsulates his extraordinary journey, accompanied by a resonant caption: “There’s no such thing as I can’t.” Skillfully edited, it showcases Tapia’s famed agility with a jump rope and his remarkable prowess in the boxing ring. This montage not only highlights his physical expertise but also subtly narrates the story of a fighter who overcame life’s harshest blows

Johnny Tapia, a name synonymous with boxing greatness, claimed five world championships across three weight classes. His feats in the ring are legendary, painting a picture of a man whose fists spoke as powerfully as his turbulent life story. Ebanie Bridges, a prominent figure in today’s boxing world, extended this narrative by reposting the reel on her story, accompanied by a simple yet emotive heart emoji. This gesture subtly bridges the past and present, connecting Tapia’s enduring legacy with the hearts of a new generation.

But how did the fans react to the reel?

Each of these reactions, woven together, paints a vivid picture of the indelible mark Johnny Tapia left on boxing and on the hearts of those who admired him. His legacy, further illuminated by Ebanie Bridges’ poignant repost, continues to inspire and move new generations of boxing enthusiasts and beyond.

As we honor his memory, one can’t help but ponder. What aspects of Johnny Tapia’s life and career inspire us the most?

The fans didn’t see much of Ebanie Bridges inside the ring this year. She fought only once in 2023. Hopefully, this will change in 2024. This year, she had to give up her IBF bantamweight title because of a noteworthy loss. In the showdown, Miyo Yoshida showcased dominance throughout significant portions of the fight.

Bridges, who claimed her world title in Leeds last year, needed a late stoppage to turn the tide, but Yoshida thwarted any such hopes. The judges’ unanimous decision reflected Yoshida’s commanding performance. She dominated the scorecards with 99-91 (twice) and 97-93. But as it turns out, Bridges is coping well with the loss and might come back stronger in the new year. On such an occasion, Bridges posed an interesting question for her fans.

Ebanie Bridges asked her fans something about 2023
At the commencement of 2023, Bridges didn’t do anything extravagant, mainly because of the instance that took place at the beginning of 2022. She posted an NSFW picture, and Instagram removed her post. She was enraged by this and had a breakdown on her Stories. She wrote, “Ok the trolls/haters are winning tbh, eh keep reporting my pic. I can’t repost my pic, last thing I wanna do is lose my account.”

Even now at the beginning of 2024, she refrained from doing anything shocking. However, she found a way to know her fans better. Bridges posted a photo with a caption reading, “Please brag to me about a thing you did in 2023 that you’re proud of.” Above the picture, Bridges wrote, “Please tell me.”

The fans took this opportunity and share their personal stories in the comments section.

Fans boast about the good things that they did in 2023
Most of the fans took this thing seriously and shared stories from their life, while some joked about the topic and made it interesting in their own way.

One of the fans stated that they have stopped smoking this year, and hopefully, they will continue the momentum in the next year as well.

Another fan stated that they decided to retire “years earlier” which allowed them to spend more time with their family.

One fan made a joke about how they became a shield to all the online hate coming towards the famous American podcaster, Brendan Schaub.

A fan shared their story about how they joined a gym and started their journey to have a fit body. They aspire to be happier and healthier in 2024.

An X user joked about how steam cleaning their bathroom tiles is something that they’re proud of. They called that day, a “game changer“.

The fans shared their takeaways from 2023 in the comments section. And most probably, that’s what Bridges also wanted when she put up the question on her social media. What are your thoughts about this? Share a moment that you are proud of that happened in 2023!

Boxing beauty Ebanie Bridges has teased the idea of a collaboration with MMA stunner Paige VanZant after the sultry duo exchanged messages on social media

Ebanie Bridges has responded playfully after Paige VanZant suggested they collaborate in order to “break the internet”.

The Blonde Bomber, who lost her IBF bantamweight title to Miyo Yoshida last month, has been actively seeking content partnerships having recently agreed to work with UFC legend Conor McGregor to promote his new Forged stout brand.

VanZant and Bridges have been pals for years and the duo teased the idea of an X-rated link up after messaging back and forth on Instagram this week, having teased something similar in July last year. Bridges lavished VanZant with praise after the American uploaded several sensual snaps wearing a sultry pink maid’s outfit to social media, and it didn’t take long for things to take an even steamier turn.

VanZant, 29, asked her 3.2million followers if they’d be interesting in seeing her and Bridges, 37, collaborate, giving respondents the options to click, ‘YES, I’ll die’, or ‘THAT WILL BREAK THE INTERNET’. The Aussie boxer wrote back saying: “Needs to happen,” along with several suggestive ‘eyes’ emojis.

Back in July, Bridges claimed the two were working to sort out a collaboration, but that their busy schedules made it difficult to get something in the diary. She told her 800,000-plus Instagram followers: “We were trying to organize it but she got really busy and I moved.

Ebanie Bridges has slammed USA Boxing for a ‘Transgender Policy’ that allows male boxers who transition to fight in the female category. The Aussie boxer blasted the policy, saying it is dangerous and puts the health and safety of boxers at risk.

The governing body, which oversees both America’s amateur and Olympic-style boxing, announced transgender athletes will be allowed to compete in their current gender under certain conditions if they are over the age of 18. Boxers under 18, however, must still compete as their birth gender.

Bridges labelled the decision by USA Boxing as ‘wrong on so many levels’ and believes it is dangerous for female boxers. “I will never agree to this… it’s bad enough having trans women breaking records in other sports like track and field, swimming and powerlifting but it’s a bit different to them breaking our skulls in combat sports where the aim is to HURT YOU not just break a record…however I think it’s wrong in ALL SPORT,” Bridges wrote on X.

“I have nothing against trans but can’t be skewing the line in sport…. You don’t see reference or debates for transmen in sport… cos it’s not a threat… It ain’t just about the test levels what about their bone density and a heap of other biological factors. The former world champion boxers believes the controversial policy could ultimately harm women’s boxing as a whole and says sportswomen must fight this change together.

The former world champion boxer believes the controversial policy could ultimately harm women’s boxing as a whole and says sportswomen must fight this change together. “I don’t care about ‘political correctness’ it’s politically incorrect to have a man fighting a woman,” she wrote in another post on X.

“And idc (I don’t care) that’s exactly what it is… this society is too soft.. this is our health and safety. The girls need to stick together or women’s sport in 50 years will be filled with male-born champions.”

How the ‘Transgender Policy’ will work
For a transgender athlete to be able to compete in the female category they must meet certain criteria such as; declaring their new gender identity, completing gender reassignment surgery and undergoing regular hormone testing. Both male and female transgender athletes must complete quarterly hormone testing and this must be documented with US Boxing for a minimum of four years post-surgery.

Boxers who have transitioned from male to female must also be able to show that their total testosterone level in serum is below 5 nmol/L and has been for a minimum of 48 months before their first competition. In a statement last week USA Boxing announced the change and said it was to “provide fairness and safety for all boxers”. Boxing’s International Federation is yet to determine eligibility for transgender boxers.
