When the NBA meets tennis, it’s like a fusion of athletic excellence! While every now and then a lot of tennis players are seen attending NBA matches, recently it was Novak Djokovic, the current world number one, who attended a Warriors match and had a sweet little moment with Stephen Curry. Two legends came together in a single frame.

However, just a few days ago, the American NBA star had an opportunity to meet Roger Federer, but this time, things were a lot different from the recent meeting with Djokovic. Let’s dive into the sweet moment Curry shared with the Serb, the ultimate star of the current tour.

Novak Djokovic gave an autographed tennis racket to Stephen Curry
The 24-time Grand Slam champion faced an early exit from the Indian Wells tournament as a young rising tennis sensation, Luca Nardi, defeated him in the second round of the tournament. However, before getting ready for the next part of the American swing, the Miami Open, the world number one-ranked tennis player recently made some time out of his busy athletic schedule to attend an NBA match.

But that was not the major highlight. While he attended the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors match, he met the Warriors’ face, other than the 36-year-old American basketball player, as they exchanged conversations and even gave each other a token of love from the respective sports.

Recently, the official Twitter handle of the basketball team shared a video in which the 36-year-old Serbian tennis player and Curry were seen standing on the basketball court as they got into a conversation. Not only that, in the video, Djokovic was seen giving his autograph on the tennis racket, which he gave to the NBA star.

In the same way, even the Warriors star took off his jersey then and there and signed it for the tennis star. Moreover, when Federer met Curry just a few days ago during his visit to San Francisco, the Swiss tennis legend didn’t receive the same gesture from the NBA star.

When Federer paid a visit to the NBA star, Curry
A few days ago, the 20-time Grand Slam champion paid the Golden State Warriors a unique visit, as he was seen exercising alongside head coach Steve Kerr and star player Steph Curry. In keeping with the spirit of teamwork, Federer posed for pictures at the Chase Center before demonstrating his abilities on the basketball court, where he stunningly made a perfect four out of four shots.

While there might be nothing that the 42-year-old Swiss tennis legend can’t do, he was seen having a fun workout session with Curry and his team, but he missed out on the moment that Curry shared with Djokovic. Moreover, looking into this, the recent meet-up also brought back happy memories of Federer and Curry’s 2017 Rolex Shanghai Masters rendezvous, underscoring the special connection between the NBA and tennis worlds.

Nevertheless, what are your thoughts on Djokovic and Curry’s recent meeting? Do let us know in the comment section below.

Former tennis player Roger Federer surprised the Golden State Warriors while they were in a practice session. Federer was visiting San Francisco and warmly greeted several members of the NBA team.

The tennis legend shared a few minutes with Stephen Curry and his Warriors teammates, while he took some shots at the basket. Federer also expressed excitement at being there.

Warriors’ home to host Laver Cup in 2025
The Chase Center, currently the home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, is the venue used for a variety of events, not only sports, but also art and music.

Next year’s Laver Cup, the eighth edition of the event created by Roger Federer in honor of tennis great Rod Laver, will be held September 19-21.

“Chase Center will be the perfect setting to host the eighth edition of the event, in a cosmopolitan city that loves its sport but has been without a top-level men’s professional tennis event for more than 10 years,” said Tony Godsick, president of the Laver Cup.

It will be the first time that the three-day team tournament, which pits six of Europe’s top men’s players against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world, will be held on the west coast of the United States.

Ayesha Curry’s life is not all glitz and glam. She manages multiple responsibilities throughout the day and ensures she makes time for her family. And more importantly, keeping them healthy. A celebrated chef herself, Mrs. Curry knows the need for a balanced diet. Not to mention, her husband, the Warriors fame Stephen Curry, needs to watch what he puts in his stomach. After all, a strict regimen is key for an athlete to stay in top shape. And that includes the food they eat. But that isn’t necessarily the case for children, though, is it?

Why chef and entrepreneur Ayesha Curry won't ever call herself an NBA wife - ABC News

While the kind of fitness plan Steph follows won’t be required, Ayesha believes that a healthy dose of everything in a meal is required. As a working mother, the temptation to simply order food can be hard to fight. Not to mention, with the kind of rigorous schedule the kids now have, eating is something they casually discard. And that’s where Ayesha lets us in on her little secret.

“My kids are busier than ever these days,” the mother of three affirms. “So I love to send them off with lots of healthy food to keep them fueled throughout the day.” And when the food is as tasty as the organic brand Annie’s provides, Ayesha assures that the children will be looking forward to their lunchtime.

Cooking and food have been a huge part of Ayesha Curry’s identity and journey toward self-love. So it wasn’t a surprise when she and her husband started the Eat.Learn.Play Foundation to ensure the children in their community ate right, had access to quality education, and safe places to play. Her lifestyle brand, Sweet July, also understands the key role of superfoods. And they are a big part of why the brand has seen so much success.

In fact, every initiative the millionaire entrepreneur invests in has a human touch to it. Both she and Steph are also the biggest advocates for the upliftment of black communities. Mrs. Curry, especially, is focused on creating opportunities for women of color.

Ayesha is determined to level the playing field for black women
If that’s not possible, then create a new one. This was Ayesha Curry’s message to the world during the Know Your Value and Forbes’ 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi on International Women’s Day 2023. She had already made her goals known when she used Sweet July to improve the representation of women of color through her brand.

And her recent re-launch of the wine brand, Domaine Curry, with her sister-in-law, Sydel Curry-Lee, was another feather in her cap. Taking the stage at the Summit, Ayesha said, “I say level the playing field, but it’s [about] making a new playing field.” The event also delved deep into her accessible recipes.

She explains that people no longer have time to go the traditional route. That’s the reality of life. But having a meal together is not just about satisfying hunger. “Food is a vessel for communication. I feel like those meals … tell a story.” Once again, it all comes down to food for Ayesha Curry.

After all, that’s where her inspiration, determination, and motivation come from!

Steve Kerr scores a spectacular and rare shot from half court before the Warriors vs Spurs game

Golden State won for just the second time in nine games and still hopes to advance out of Group C in the in-season tournament.

No. 1 pick Wembanyama had 22 points and eight rebounds but shot 1 for 6 from long range in San Antonio’s 11th straight loss. He had five quick points with a 3-pointer as the Spurs jumped ahead 11-4.

The 7-foot-3 rookie drove to the basket with a pretty around-the-waist move, only to have his shot blocked by a high-leaping Gary Patyon II – more than a full foot shorter – midway through the second quarter.

Draymond Green serves final suspension game
Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 24 points, while Keldon Johnson had 22 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which finished 0-4 in tournament group play. The Warriors have won the last five against the Spurs and seven of nine in the series.

Draymond Green served the final game of his five-game suspension for putting a choke hold on Rudy Gobert and has been working out with the training staff ahead of his return Tuesday at Sacramento, which would have clinched a quarterfinal spot with a Warriors loss Friday.

“Hopefully he’ll be ready to play a lot of minutes,” coach Steve Kerr said.

Golden State unveiled the new Jim Barnett Media Center honoring the team’s former player and broadcaster.

“I’m so glad I’m alive to see all of this,” Barnett said.
