However, New York Liberty guard Sabrina had to face the loss by 3 points in the match. The post caption reads as “Such. A. Badass!! Way to go Sabrina!! Only lost by 3 points to one of the most prolific 3 point shooters in the game. 💪🏻”.

In his first-ever NBA vs. WNBA three-point shooting competition, Stephen Curry defeated Sabrina by making nine of his last ten attempts. Warriors sharpshooter Stephen Curry finished the match by scoring the highest points 29. Ionescu also played brilliantly, making her first seven attempts, and scoring 26 points.

After the match, Ionescu has been getting inspiration for executing her master skills from across the globe. Vonn also came forth to cheer the emerging NBA player talent.

The shared picture reads the message as “All young girls that are watching, being able to watch this and see that one day too they can come out here and shoot against their idol, shoot against the best shooter in the world. And nothing is going to stop them.” Sabrina Ionescu remarked this ahead of her 3-PT contest against Stephen Curry via NBA on TNT.

Besides that, Vonn also expressed her love for these messages and penned, “Honestly, one of the coolest things, I have seen in a long time. Love the message this sends,” with the flexed biceps emoji which shows great strength.
