No. The 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist has been suffering from a kidney disease, but she’s on a recovery journey already. Sitting out on back-to-back championships has allowed her compatriots to sweep titles. But with Lee’s Olympic return this year, they will have to toil since she has a new vault skill to ace.

Being mindful of her gymnastic practice didn’t mean skipping social media. Getting showered with fan love and celebrating her healing safari, the 20-year-old has also made big strides in her partnership domain. But one alliance stood out particularly, which is almost a household name now.

Sunisa Lee unveils GK Elite’s latest leotard line
Lee took to her Instagram handle to post a pink-and-purple leotard line, which perfectly embodies her lively nature. The caption says, “The @gkelite x @sunisalee collection you all have been asking for is finally here!! *adds to cart* #ad#partnership#gkelite”. Alongside big names like Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey, the world’s leading brand in gymnastics attire, has Lee welcomed in all her glory. Oftentimes using her social media platform to express her adoration for GK Elite, she featured with them in a recent Instagram reel as well.

Donning blue leotards, the phenoms came up in a carousel while radiating sportsmanship. The leotards by GK Elite go beyond just any normal gymnastic attire. The gymnasts brainstorm with the team by designing the leotards, while also making sure those sit in line with the youngsters. With the catch line “Season to Shine: Athlete Edition”, these leotards summon all gymnasts to wear the iconic confidence sported by the makers. But where did Lee’s journey with fashion start?

Lee’s partnership dates back to 2021
Being fashion forward is an essential factor in the gymnastic domain. So, to keep up with the trends whilst being an inspirational figure, Sunisa Lee joined hands with GK Elite in 2021. Holding hands with PrettyLittleThing, she launched her first leotard collection in 2022.

In that interview, the gymnast let slip, “I think what I liked about him was his confidence. He truly believes he’s the best at everything.”

Despite the couple knotted their relationship with jovial promises in May last year, JO was there when Biles had taken an off because of her twisties. Moreover, he had acknowledged his wife’s success thoroughly, if not by physical appearance, then by his virtual presence. Now as the dates near the brink, one of the world’s most decorated gymnasts Simone Biles, has stepped up to bear presents in honor of the season ahead. And has done so, with some help from the cherished gymnastics brand, GK Elite.

Simone Biles and GK Elite have boosted a long-standing partnership, celebrating the legacy of gymnasts as a marking step. Beginning in 2015, the gymnast has often presented new collections and surprises for her staunch following through the leading brand of gymnastics apparel. Now, ahead of the new gymnastics season, the gymnast is back yet again with more to her name.

Simone Biles arrives with a surprise
Simone Biles and GK Elite recently took to their Instagram profiles to drop a collaborative post announcing a newer collection. “This is the drop we’ve been waiting for! @simonebiles Season to Shine collection is finally here and is all yours!” the caption read. In the shared carousel, the 7-time Olympic medalist adorned 3 different looks for the collection. A swirl patterned ‘Scarlet Starlight’ takes the first thread. A rich navy blue, with silver glitter lining the waist, named ‘Shooting Star’ frames the second while subtle white and blue tones with floral patterns, tagged ‘Moonbeams’ call for the third.

Each of the leotards carries the text, ‘Simone’ embossed to the left thigh corner. Over time, following multiple collaborative releases, the text has grown to be a signature, adding accent to every piece. While the collections inspired and designed in collaboration with athletes might be a known practice of late, Biles’ first collection held a different story.

A goal to inspire
Despite joining GK Elite back in 2015, the partnership saw an extension in 2021 and saw it in a different light. A few weeks ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, Simone Biles and the brand revealed that the partnership would include first-ever athlete-designed competitive leotards. The collection was named ‘Simone Biles Legacy’ and aimed at inspiring the aspirants looking up. “I am thrilled to continue my partnership with GK Elite as we work together to inspire the next generation of gymnasts and encourage them to pursue their own goals and dreams,” said Biles according to Business Wire.

Girisha Chandraraj, President and CEO of GK Elite Sportswear revealed that what impressed the team more than Simone Biles’ accolades was her dedication to growing the sport. Since then, the gymnast and the apparel brand have worked to put out numerous inspiring designs. A wedding homage, a life motto, or a holiday celebration, the gymnast has got it all.

Less than an hour before kickoff against the 49ers, Biles was spotted on the Packers’ sideline giving Owens, 28, a good-luck hug and kiss.

Biles continues to support her husband following social media backlash of Owens’ appearance on “The Pivot” podcast, where the Packers safety claimed he was the “catch” of the relationship.

On the podcast, Owens claimed he “didn’t know who” Biles, one of the most accomplished gymnastics in Olympics history, was when they first matched on the exclusive dating app Raya.

Olivia Culpo is set to become the latest celebrity to receive a unique gift from NFL wife Kristin Juszczyk following the success of her custom Taylor Swift and Simone Biles jackets.

Former Miss Rhode Island model Culpo, 31, posted a story on Instagram to her five million followers with the caption: “Design loading” as she posed for a selfie with Juszczyk.

However, it is clear the pair wanted to keep the custom design under wraps until it is finished as Culpo concealed the jacket with a red heart emoji.

Unlike with her other designs, Juszczyk will have some knowledge about how to put a 49ers jacket together – her husband, Kyle Juszczyk, is a fullback for the NFL franchise and plays alongside running back McCaffrey.

The design will be ready in time for Culpo to wear when she attends Saturday’s playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, showing off another unique piece of attire from Juszczyk’s collection.
