After her incredible defense against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley paid the price for underestimating a genuine threat: Liv Morgan. The superstar in question injured the Women’s World Champion’s shoulder on Raw.

Rhea Ripley Hits Impressive WWE Milestone - WrestleTalk

After a brutal backstage attack by Liv Morgan, Ripley began to suffer from issues in her right shoulder, and a few days back on an episode of Raw, Ripley sadly announced that she would be vacating the title. Ever since, fans have been awaiting the return of ‘Mami’, who recently provided an injury update on her social media.

Rhea Ripley draws inspiration from herself as she provides an update on her shoulder injury
Mami has become one of the biggest names in WWE’s women’s roster over the past year. But her current injury issue has halted her meteoric rise. And recently on her social media, she uploaded a picture of her office, which featured several title belts as well as photographs of Ripley’s iconic moments. And in the caption to the picture, she provided an update on her fitness as she simply wrote, “Progress”.

The loss of Mami is sure to affect the Stamford-based promotion considering the plans they had for her. But another entity that could suffer even more due to the absence of The Eradicator is her faction: The Judgment Day. Tensions have flared in the group between its members, with Damian Priest drawing a line in the sand on Raw. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray had a few choice things to say on the Busted Open Radio about Ripley’s injury. He suggested that it may not be as serious as many fear it will be for her. So it shouldn’t be long before the former champion comes for the title again. But was taking her completely off TV the right decision? One former WWE personality doesn’t think so.

Vince Russo wants Mami to keep appearing
Rhea Ripley is away from WWE programming as she recovers. However, she could surely do a lot on Raw without having matches and even without being the World Champion just like CM Punk. But the company seems to have made the decision to allow her to rest one hundred percent. Which is the best thing for her to return with all the strength in the world. Now, Vince Russo too thinks she should stay on TV.

WWE star Rhea Ripley relinquishes Women's World Championship due to injury | Fox News

The former WWE writer from the 90s shares his opinion every week on Legion of Raw after the red brand show and in the most recent episode of the podcast, he dedicated a few words to the situation of Mami. He said, “Bro, back in the Attitude Era, if somebody got hurt, they were still on the show. They just wouldn’t wrestle. We did that all the time. If Austin would get hurt or The Rock, I would say, ‘Okay, they’re gonna be on the show, we’ll write them on the show. They’re just not gonna wrestle.”

He further added, “Rhea Ripley is a huge star. Why can’t they write for her without having her wrestle? I don’t understand this… Why isn’t she on the show now? She’s got her arm in a sling, she can’t get on an airplane?” Well, Russo surely wants Mami to still be a part of the WWE programming and arguably for good reason. The Judgment Day is in disarray and the championship scene has moved on from Ripley. It won’t be surprising to think that The Eradicator will want to stamp her authority on things and reestablish her ambitions. What do you think? Should the WWE bring Ripley like they brought Punk? What did you make of the WWE star’s injury update? Let us know in the comments.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour show to promote her new biography. During the interview, she discussed various topics, including her views on Ronda Rousey, details about her contract, and her upcoming WrestleMania 40 match against WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley Calls WWE Elimination Chamber Her "WrestleMania Before WrestleMania"

Becky Lynch won the Elimination Chamber 2024 event, earning the opportunity to challenge Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.

Ripley has been at the top of her game recently and is on her way to becoming one of the most popular WWE stars of all time. She recently went viral on social media after footage of her match with Nia Jax surfaced, in which Rhea Ripley delivered a stink face move on her opponent.

While discussing her WrestleMania opponent, Becky Lynch reacted to the viral video of Rhea Ripley giving a stink face to Nia Jax, saying, “So when you go out there and you say, ‘Well, I can just post a photo and people will go crazy, or I can just post a video of my a** and people will go crazy.’

Rhea Ripley: Above AEW Fiancé's Level

“Well, then that just feels like we’re kind of going back, and I worry about that because if that’s what people see as your champion, ‘Oh, that’s the Women’s Champion! What do I think of when I think of the Women’s Champion? Oh, I think of her a**!’ Then we’re just going back and we’re making an a** of our business!”

WrestleMania 40 Match Card
WWE is gearing up to host the 40th edition of its flagship event, WrestleMania, also known as the Showcase of Immortals. This year, the two-night extravaganza, WrestleMania XL, will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The WrestleMania 40 card appears to be jam-packed as WWE aims to make this year’s event the greatest WrestleMania of all time, featuring some of the biggest superstars and matches on the show.

Rhea Ripley Reacts To Eliminating WWE Judgment Day Member From Royal Rumble - WrestleTalk

So far, WWE has announced ten spectacular matches, one of which is for the WWE Women’s Championship between the current champion Rhea Ripley and challenger Becky Lynch. According to rumors, Becky Lynch has expressed her desire to open WrestleMania 40 with her match against Rhea Ripley.

Below is the list of all the matches announced by WWE for WrestleMania 40 thus far:

1. The Bloodline (The Rock and Roman Reigns) vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins – Tag team match

8. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles – Singles match

9. Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso – Singles match

10. Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens – Triple threat match for United States Title

Rhea Ripley set social media alight after using the stink face on Nia Jax.

The Stink Face was made infamous by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi during the Attitude Era. The move saw the big man drop opponents in the corner and back his backside into their face. During his time in the company, Rikishi used the move on stars including Kurt Angle, Paul Heyman, and even The Rock.

Now, Ripley has brought the move back, performing an extended version of it on Nia Jax. Footage of the incident quickly spread on social media to the delight of fans around the world. Ripley then went on to successfully defend the Women’s World Championship against Jax and Shayna Baszler at the live event in Springfield, Illinois.

Rhea Ripley Credits AEW Star For Current Look
Rhea Ripley has credited Ruby Soho for inspiring her to be herself. When the star debuted during the Mae Young Classic, she had long blond hair and a more generic appearance. However, in WWE she began working with Soho, who had a completely different look to other women in wrestling. This helped her bring out her true self instead of trying to fit a specific mould.

Today, as part of The Judgment Day, Ripley leans more into a heavy metal presentation, and it has helped her win over fans all around the world and reach the top of WWE. At WrestleMania 40, she will defend the Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch, who challenged her after winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia.

Rhea Ripley is enjoying a dominant run in WWE, but she should run into a major foil in Liv Morgan post-WrestleMania.

Liv Morgan fans are loud with their push for their favorite performer to be included in the WWE Women’s Championship picture heading into WrestleMania 40. Becky Lynch versus Rhea Ripley is firmly the match set and there will not be any changes to that. But coming out of the March 11 edition of WWE Raw, it is clear that Morgan does have a place in the title scene and she perhaps is the one to defeat Ripley for her championship.

Liv Morgan Mar.jpg

Morgan dropped an excellent match to Lynch, continuing the latter’s push to WrestleMania 40. But as Morgan left the ring, Ripley walked out to mock her. Morgan let her know that she’s coming to take everything from her, just as Ripley did to her when she injured her shoulder. WWE has frequently used these “ramp faceoffs” as foreshadowing within their title picture.

Few expect Lynch to defeat Ripley. Ripley’s a power-player on the WWE roster. She’s a foundational piece for the future of the women’s division and the entire company as one of the few superstars with crossover, mainstream potential. Becky Lynch has spent much of the last year involved in important feuds that have helped build the future of the roster. She’s battled the likes of Zoey Stark, Lyra Valkyria, Tegan Nox, Tiffany Stratton, and others. Lynch is doing the work necessary to build the future of this division. Valuable work that few “veterans” are seen doing on a consistent basis. Even with her placement as an icon in wrestling, Lynch shouldn’t be the woman to beat Ripley for that title.

WWE Raw results, grades: Rhea Ripley turns on Liv Morgan after loss | Metro News

That is where Morgan comes into play. Morgan is one of those individuals who is on the cusp of a breakthrough. Reports point toward her being one of the top ten merch movers in the company, and the only woman in that group. Even though she’s a former champion, the booking that she experienced against Ronda Rousey didn’t help her credibility as a main event competitor. This is why WWE should look at booking Morgan as the woman to defeat Ripley at some point in 2024.

WWE needs more stars within both the men’s and women’s divisions. Ripley’s rise during the last two years shows that it is possible to build stars. WWE creative has improved to a point where sustainable, consistent, coherent booking is shown to work. Morgan going on the “hunt” to take down Ripley should be the next storyline for her once WrestleMania comes and goes. Perhaps alone the way she should get a win over Lynch as well, another that would be a big boost to her career. Giving Morgan a two to three month story arc where she finally overcomes Ripley on a major stage like SummerSlam would be the perfect test to see if Morgan can become the star that her fans claim she already is. It’s a test that WWE should undertake because the more top performers, the better.

The WWE Universe loves Liv Morgan. That love has become more apparent since her return at the Royal Rumble a few months ago. Will that support be enough to push her to a run as a champion on Monday Night Raw? Only time is tell but there’s value in testing out the idea with Morgan picking up a title win over Ripley.

vRhea Ripley is certainly one of the top female WWE Superstars right now, as her stock continues to rise with every passing week. She also decided to send a message to her haters before Elimination Chamber this week.

Who Is Rhea Ripley Married To, Wikipedia, Before Wrestling, Parents, Bra Size, Feet

Rhea Ripley is positioned as the headline star of Elimination Chamber 2024. Not only is she featured prominently as the cover star on the event poster, but she also takes center stage as the face of the official hashtag for the show, making her a focal point in all the promotional efforts for the event in Australia.

The journey to the pinnacle of the wrestling world has been a challenging one for the female star, Rhea Ripley. Her struggles to find her footing in the company have been well-documented. However, even before her time with the company, the Judgement Day Star had to overcome numerous hardships and face detractors at every stage of her career.

Rhea Ripley Is Not Sure How She Will React At WWE Elimination Chamber

Rhea Ripley opened up about her struggles during a recent appearance on The Bump. When asked about her message for her detractors ahead of the Elimination Chamber event, The Mami recounted the numerous individuals in her life who had tried to dissuade her from pursuing a career in wrestling.

“Yeah, those people that doubted me throughout the entire journey. I had school teachers who laughed in my face when I wanted to do projects on WWE and wrestling. People judged me for wanting to try out for Riot City Wrestling, the independent scene in Australia where I began my wrestling career. Even when I laid out my plan to dedicate myself to the craft and make it to WWE, there were constant voices saying, ‘You should find a real job. You should study. You should do something else. You’re never gonna make it. It’s a silly dream. You have to be more realistic about your life.’

The one thing I have to say to that is, ‘Where are you guys now?’ I’m here, living my dream. I worked hard for this dream, and they’re miserable in their little, crappy lives. So yeah, sue me.”

The Women’s Champion is set to defend her title against Nia Jax in a singles match at Elimination Chamber 2024, taking place at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. It remains to be seen how she will fare in the bout.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 will take place on February 24, 2024, at 5 a.m. E.S.T., live on Peacock. Here are some foolproof match card predictions.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 is still one week away. It will take place in Australis, and the pro wrestling world is buzzing about who could win the Chamber and main event WrestleMania 40. The Elimination Chamber is the perfect place to set up some last-minute rivalries and feuds on the road to WrestleMania. Outside the chambers, this PPV will be headlined by fellow Australians, Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax, in an epic world title match that will be remembered for years to come. Who will win this title match? Who will win the Chambers? Let’s find that out and so much more with Mark Justice.

Rhea Ripley Dec.jpg

The following will provide foolproof match card predictions for the very last major roadblock on the road to WrestleMania: WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul [Elimination Chamber: Winner Gets Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40]
Drew McIntyre will win the Elimination Chamber for three reasons: (1) He needs to get heel heat for taking away CM Punk’s WrestleMania Main Event against Seth Rollins, (2) He is the only Raw superstar in this match, and (3) He is the only superstar who has a current storyline with Seth Rollins. LA Knight and Kevin Owens will be preoccupied with targeting Logan Paul for the U.S. Title on the road to WrestleMania 40. Lashley is still feuding with Karrion Kross. Although it would be nice to see a WrestleMania 31 rematch against Rollins, Orton still has unfinished business with The Bloodline.

Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Kevin Owens & Logan Paul | Elimination Chamber - YouTube

Also, like KO it would not make much sense for Randy Orton to get traded back to Raw and battle Seth Rollins for the World Title after recently signing with SmackDown. This match has Drew McIntyre written all over it, and he will finally have an opportunity to win that title at Mania in front of FANS. When McIntyre wins this Chamber Match, WWE should really have CM Punk on commentary to witness his WrestleMania main event dreams blow up in his face as a long term methodology to continue building their feud in anticipation of his return from injury in the Summer of 2024.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Jade Cargill [Elimination Chamber: Winner Gets Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40]
Becky Lynch will win the Elimination Chamber for three reasons: (1) She is the most credible and best well built superstar in the Raw Women’s Division, (2) Her title match with Rhea Ripley would be a marquee match for Mania, and (3) WWE has been teasing a title match between Lynch and Ripley heavily, especially at the Mania Press Conference in Las Vegas. Bianca Belair and Tiffany Stratton won’t win because they are busy feuding on SmackDown, as Stratton is Charlotte’s replacement. Naomi won’t win because she is also from SmackDown and still has to target the tag titles she never lost.

Pro Wrestling Finesse on X: "This lineup for the Women's Elimination Chamber Match would be so beast. Bianca BelAir v. Becky Lynch v. Naomi v. Jade Cargill v. Tiffany Stratton v. Liv

If Becky Lynch does not win, it can be argued that Liv Morgan has a solid chance of winning since she has a long term storyline with Ripley, who viciously attacked her and took her out of commission six months ago. Liv is out for revenge and that could start with the Chamber. However, she should beat Ripley whenever she does battle her for said title. Since Ripley is deserving of surpassing a milestone of 400 days as World Champion, Ripley should not lose at Mania 40 and should solidify her reign by defeating Becky at Mania and then potentially dropping the title to Morgan at SummerSlam.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Judgment Day (c) vs. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate [Undisputed Tag Titles]
Judgment Day will retain the Undisputed Tag Titles because the end goal at WrestleMania 40 from a storyline standpoint is clearly Awesome Truth, who have been interfering in Judgment Day business for months. The Miz and R-Truth have the best storyline to become the next tag champions, especially since they never won the titles when they were originally a team in 2011-2012. Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate only recently formed a team and are merely in this tag title match to showcase their chemistry and capabilities to become future tag team champions, just like DIY did on Raw recently.

WWE 2K23 | The Judgment Day Vs Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate | Elimination Chamber Perth - YouTube

Prediction: Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax [World Women’s Title]
Rhea Ripley will retain the World Women’s Title against Nia Jax because the end goal for her at WrestleMania 40 is clearly Becky Lynch. It can be argued that Nia Jax has unfinished business with Becky Lynch from Day 1 and could win the title to defend it against Becky Lynch at Mania. However, it would be ill-advised to do a title change on the world title only one month before Mania, and the marquee match that is befitting for a big stage like Mania has always been Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch. It should be a spectacle when this match main events with Ripley delivering the Riptide to Jax.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns & The Rock [Dream Tag Match]
As a bonus, WWE has recently announced that Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will be on the Grayson Waller Effect. This segment was created not only to highlight Grayson Waller in his home country but also set up a huge dream tag team match between Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns & The Rock for the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night 1. It seems unnecessary to double book these individuals at WrestleMania, but it seems that WWE is planning to give Reigns and Rock a victory over Rhodes and Rollins to psychologcally add more heat before Cody finishes the story against Roman.

Prediction: Roman Reigns & The Rock

A WWE SmackDown Superstar’s latest tweet targeting Rhea Ripley will not go down well with the Women’s World Champion. Bayley, who wore Ripley’s merch on the Friday night show, has now taken shots at her on Twitter.

Rhea Ripley is one of WWE
Rhea Ripley is one of WWE’s biggest heels today

The Role Model was in the commentary booth during WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance’s title defense against Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. At one point, Bayley called herself the “Mami Slayer” when asked about a potential WrestleMania match against the Judgment Day member.

Following SmackDown, the 34-year-old star took to Twitter to share a picture of herself wearing Ripley’s merch. She again called herself the “Mami Slayer” in the caption and added she was coming for the Women’s World Champion.

“Call me the Mami Slayer. I’m coming for you Rhea Ripley. #RoyalRumble #SmackDown RheaRipley_WWE,” tweeted Bayley.

Bayley is set to enter the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match next week, and according to many, she’s the favorite to win the match. If she were to come on top, a showdown against Ripley at WrestleMania 40 could become a reality.

Bayley considers a potential match against Rhea Ripley as a dream clash
In her recent interview with the New York Post, Bayley opened up about the possibility of a marquee clash against The Eradicator at the Grandest Stages of Them All later this year.

The Role Model confessed that it would be a dream for her to step inside the ring with the Judgment Day member.

“If I’m able to work with her [Rhea Ripley] at WrestleMania, that would just be a dream match I [have] never even thought of before,” Bayley shared her honest thoughts on the potential matchup.

While it remains to be seen if Bayley manages to overcome 29 other women and win the Women’s Royal Rumble next week, it’s safe to say the teases of a match with Ripley have already gotten the fans buzzing.

Liv Morgan has shared a heartfelt message about a WWE Superstar ahead of their wedding day.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been off of WWE television for several months now. Morgan has not been in action since the July 17 edition of RAW. She and Raquel Rodriguez dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green during the show.

However, Deville went down with a torn ACL shortly after capturing the titles, and Piper Niven replaced her in the tag team. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven put together an impressive title reign before losing them to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on the December 18, 2023 edition of RAW.

Liv Morgan took to Instagram today to send a heartfelt message to Sonya Deville ahead of her wedding day. Morgan noted that Deville was her best friend and thanked the happy couple for letting her be a part of their bachelorette weekend:

“My beautiful best friend is getting married 🥹✨ Thank you guys for letting me be apart of the most epic double bachelorette weekend ever 🫣🤭 I don’t know anyone more perfect for my girl than you @fit_tonicassano 🖤,” she wrote.

WWE star Liv Morgan reveals how she deals with bullying
Liv Morgan recently shared how she has dealt with cyberbullying throughout her career in the spotlight as a WWE Superstar.

Speaking to Emily Mae of Sportskeeda Wrestling in an exclusive interview last year, the 29-year-old shared that she has experienced bullying online throughout her career but tries to tune out the negativity. Morgan added that how others see her is not her truth, and she is just trying to have fun doing what she loves:

“My experience with bullying has been a lot of cyberbullying in my career, like ‘you’re never gonna be a champion, you’re not big enough, strong enough.’ I just try to zone out, tune out, just not pay attention to it. Does it bother me sometimes? Yes. But how others see me is not my truth. So I just try to stick to just doing what I know and have fun while doing it,” said Liv Morgan. (0:52 – 1:16)

It’s time for WWE RAW, and we’re kicking off with a special video honoring the legacy of the late Martin Luther King, Jr. on this MLK Day.

Many current and former WWE personalities, including Ronda Rousey, Jade Cargill, and Damian Priest, have reacted to Liv Morgan’s heartfelt message to an AEW star. The name in question is Ruby Soho, formerly known as Ruby Riott.

Liv Morgan Gives Update On Her Search For “Angry Liv Girl”

Morgan and Soho have an enriched history together as both stars made their main roster debuts alongside Sarah Logan, now known as Valhalla, on the same day in World Wrestling Entertainment. The trio were known as The Riott Squad. However, the stable was disbanded during the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up as Liv moved to SmackDown Live and Ruby went on a hiatus due to a shoulder injury.

The duo were reunited in 2020 and wrestled many matches together, but in 2021, Ruby Soho was released from her WWE contract. After a few months, Soho joined AEW.

Liv Morgan recently took to her Instagram to post several photos alongside her former tag team partner, Ruby Soho, wishing her a Happy Birthday. Morgan also expressed her love for Soho in the caption of her post.

Many WWE personalities liked Liv’s Instagram post, including Ronda Rousey, Damian Priest, Raquel Rodriguez, Samantha Irvin, Angelo Dawkins, Natalya, CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, Kayla Braxton, Nikki Bella, now known as Nikki Garcia, Jade Cargill, Chelsea Green, Valhalla and others.

WWE Hall of Famer believes people should not be making a big deal out of Liv Morgan’s recent arrest
During a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast with host Mac Davis, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long said that he does not understand why people were making a huge deal out of Liv Morgan’s arrest because of possession of marijuana as it was legal in a lot of states in the USA.

“I know that there are some dispensaries there [Florida]. What I’m saying is that I don’t know why people are making such a big deal of her possession of marijuana. And in ten states the stuff’s legal. You know what I mean? So, if she isn’t selling weed or wasn’t caught with pounds or kilos, then who cares? I don’t understand the problem,” Teddy Long said.
Morgan is currently out with an injury, and some fans believe she might return at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. What the Stamford-based promotion has in store for her future remains to be seen.
